You mean before Dawn says it?
You know what would make that comment sequence even better?
A Hatchetman.
Speaking of - the comprehensive list of mechs Dawnstealer still needs to have:
- Hatchetman (duh)
- Warhammer (inbound, apparently?)
- Assassin
- Thug

You guys do realize that while looking cool is...well, cool, that longer, bigger guns just means it's going to be easier to hit and thus disarm?
That right arm already looks like it'll be fairly easy to slice off, not sure why everyone wants an already sub-par-seeming mech to be even easier to dismantle....

IS heavies that are already proven to be good are the Jagermech for the high mounted hard points, the Orion or Cataphract for the tanky factor they have and the Thunderbolt since some of the variants has both of the previous Mechs.
For those who ask for a long range IS heavy Mech, the Catapult still does the job.
So no one can say that the similarities with the Grasshopper isn't there, already the Grasshopper is a rare sight and I expect no less from the Back Knight with those low hard points. If the V shape front armor was more accentuated in a 45 degrees pattern, already two energy hard points could be higher and even more than the Mechwarrior 4 version without being out of place.
I do have to say that Alex does a superb job with the art and the 3D guys do also work hard to bring those to a virtual life, but seems the team hardly play the game or have no clue what is going on in matches to place hard points so low.
Already the Mauler is just average ( quite squishy IMHO ) now the Black Knight with low weapons so last hope is the Crab and that Wolfhound.
I do once in a while support the game with real cash but I don't support Mech packs as most of the time the end product is not as hyped, be wary of that Marauder, only 2 weapons are high mounted. A mini King Crab is the Marauder.

...lots of stuff...
I do however have some hope for the Crab. Anxiously awaiting those for CBill release, as they look to have good hardpoints, and as long as they aren't incredibly easy to kill via hitboxes, should be a decent little laser vomit mech for IS. To me, they seem like a mini, energy-only TBR, but it's all going to be a matter of the hitboxes.

Kodyn don't forget that the kind of design the Crab has will need an AMS to increase durability( its a small help but helps none the less ) None humanoid designs seem to have a weakness to LRMs, as example the King Crab or Stalker. Weird part is that I didn't see any hard points for AMS on the Marauder, which has a similar design as the two previous mentioned.

The pre-order page for the Marauder now lists AMS on the left torso for all variants.
Bounty Hunter's engine cap has also been increased from 275 to 300.

Yep, so now if they could just get that medium laser that hangs out under the arm and move it so that its above the PPC like in the concept art, then they would actually address what we were disappointed by,
Yes we need to peek in a Black Knight, and no a head laser does not make peeking worth it.
All in all though, I liked the scale video, it looks good.
