The idea that so many have been hooked on the idea of Quads for so long here kind of blows my mind, of all the things to be consumed with, why Quads?
At least go with something interesting, Death From Above, and Melee, now we are talking. Now, if only we could get the Stinger, Wasp and Phoenix Hawk, ahhh...... (Stares out the window lost in dream land)

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume you are actually being serious. That being the case Battletech is what Mechwarrior is based on. It is the foundation and the core of all that Mechwarrior is and beyond.
Read up if you are so inclined.

I still believe we'll see a pretty steady income over the weekend, I haven't backed yet and won't until friday and I'd say there's a fair bit of people who haven't due to waiting for payday/etc.
Once this gets out to more media outlets as well I'd expect more people to take a look/back it. I personally still expect around 5-7 million, or at least hope it'll rise to around that number.

More like....
So, MechWarrior Tactics had died an this is it's replacement, a Battletech game.
It's closer anyway
P.S. The Battletech game is a year to a year and a half out anyway, so it won't be replacing anything any time soon.

Don't forget less traditional forms of media as well such as podcasts. The Patch, Gamers with Jobs and Rebel FM have caused me to purchase and back many games I likely wouldn't have otherwise, and they for the most part have a week delay.

IGN will eventually do an article once they get paid for it, probably, and it'll probably initially either be scant or have a bit of misinformation. Happier Kotaku mentioned it, but I guess if IGN does it'll help increase visibility anyway.
