Remember that the Marauder comes out before Christmas/New Years holidays, and the Warhammer is after said holidays. Hence the one month or so delay.

Actually, I did. But four weeks of christmas vacation? Lucky employees, I'd say. :)

Just mocked up a Black Widow using the Ilya Muromets chassis on Smurfy.

If the thing is able to run an XL without it being totally suicidal, you could keep the 280XL (64.8/71.3 kph with tweak) and rock quad AC5 with two medium lasers as backup weapons (all in torsos, nothing in the arms). Mauler lite maybe? :D

Maybe I should boat flamers on my Timber Wolf then. (FIRE WILL CLEANSE THE SINS!)

Clan warriors do like to prove that they can win a fight even with severe handicaps.

The arms ruin it, other than that the mech looks great.

Vatborn, if it didn't have the arms, it'd be a Hellbringer. those arms are iconic to the Whammer's look.

deal with it.

Freebirth Surat! I would prefer my Hellbringer! Although I do find it amusing that you use the correct name for the Hellbringer, so maybe you would make a good bondsman.

that's mainly because we've got a new model of a warhammer, not a Tomahawk Destroid :P

Yes, I know it was done for legal reasons, but still does not quite look right.

That picture is from the 3025 TRO, so yes, an exact copy of the Tomahawk, but a Warhammer in BattleTech.

Come on, boys!
There will be never an alternative to the original 3025 Warhammer.
But the thing we will get, is much better as everything else they've tried before...especially the tin cans you could buy for BT Tabletop.
And for reminding you: Loki is a little like Warhammer. Warhammer was first....Loki is only a bad copy

Freebirth, the Hellbringer is the evolution of the venerable Warhammer.

The word you need is monstrosity...evolution in a wrong direction... :(

And, if you don't like my opinion: Go snitching to your mother.....

Freebirth, and proud of it. :D

Just look closely, there IS a searchlight on the left shoulder in the concept art! Question will be, will it be functional? Might be fun to use in the maps that got a shifting time setting or at frozen city night!

Would it bewise to use it, if it is functional? I don't think so! Showing everyone my position is a kind of...suicidal...

Every Battlemech had functioning lights in MechWarrior 4, and yes it was suicidal to turn them on when playing multiplayer. However, it was never as realistically dark in MW4 as it can get in MWO... but I guess that's why we have night vision in the distant future?

It would have been neat to see that in the options for private matches though... Locking out night and heat vision so that people either have to turn their lights on or fire blind. I bet that would have made for some interesting/intense matches. Oh well, I'll just have to fondly remember MW4 and enjoy those experiences. ;)
