I just found that there is a duplicated Catapult in the cards. :(

Fixed that and I put some LRMs in some Awesomes. Well, let's update everything.

Changed mech card image pages 1, 3 and 8. Replaced some images, added new mech (in place of the duplicated Catapult) and fixed some stats. New version (v 1.12) here.

Still working with the mech minis.

Great job. Obviously took a lot of time and effort. Thanks.

There is a mech video game called Mechwarrior Living Legends. Because of that MWO is stupid?

Just passing by to show you the (promised) paper mech miniatures. Soon, in the next update.

How it works: print, cut vertically and glue together the two halves of the mechs. You can either use a support or let the lower part opened to use as a base.

PS: new Periphery faction image. :P

Did you have the trouble to read one paragraph of the first post?

I know there is a Battletech card game. I know there is a Battletech board game. This is something different.

Well in this case the problem isn't so much the images as much as the medium. BT rights are split up among several companies. Specifically PGI has the electronic rights. Catalyst has the TT rights and although I'm not certain I'm guessing that WotC has the TCG rights.
So since your medium could be seen as infringing on either Catalyst's or WotC's rights that would be the problem. The images would also be an issue but PGI does not seem to have a problem with it so that's good. Although I'd have a chat with their legal department first before comercializing.

Considering how he's doing this for free I don't think Catalyst will break out the WHAP sticks any time soon.
I've seen modifications and outright different campaign systems made by fans on the Catalyst boards.
Their stance has been "Does it make you money? No then it's not a paddlin'. If you're making money then that's a paddlin'."
Well that's the stance I've seen for a few years. It is basically free advertisement for them and it shows the world this gaming Universe isn't dead if someone pours this much time and energy into it.

I'm not sure how WoTC would feel, but I hope they have a similar mindset.
It looks interesting. I'll see about reading the rules when I get home and give some more input later.

Excellent work Odanan. I'm very impressed. Don't let the morons talking about "hurr there's already a board game hurrr" get you down. It's an awesome and easy to get into concept. Keep working and refining it!
