Been my nickname since middle school (first name Koji apparently too hard to pronounce for ppl) and for some reason it's always available.

"k" "o" "j"
to the "d" "o" "g"
it's the kojdog

I got into Battletech (Mechwarrior) from reading the books. The first book I read was the start of the Clan invasion. I took the first name from the lead character of the "Measure of a Hero" book. His name was Archer Christifori. I took my last name from Victor Steiner-Devion. He is my favorite character of the Battletech universe I know of.

Sgt Puddles is the name I gave to every infantry sergeant when playing battletech because they just end up as puddles, i have use it in other games too like battlefield and 40k ig.

I also have been known to use Gannon Faber as a not to zelda and a cerian wolfs dragoons charactor, also it was a play on words for cannon fodder 1st used in starcraft to enote my skill level

Guess where my nick comes from... :P

The Gray Death trilogy were my first BT novels back in the days.

Besides I used this one or "Gray Death" pretty much as long as I am active in the web.

Let's see.......if memory serves me right I created this name around 1986 when my middle school friends and I started playing D&D hardcore (as in every damn weekend with the occasional weekday thrown in). Kalakzak ended up being a great warrior king with an overt fondness for ale (who carried with him a magical mug of endless ale) and who tended to belch frequently.

I was 12. It was funny.

I used the name and that character frequently through the end of high school. However, once that ended and I started into PC games and LAN parties I tended to settle for Nazgul (yeah yeah big Tolkein fan). Then when I started into Asheron's Call I resurrected the name Kalakzak and have been using it ever since in every game I play.

I've been using this name since I started online gaming.... think it was 1998? not sure but it was the same time Ground control was released.

My RL name is John and if you say Johnneh in a retarded sort of voice, that's how im known to my mates... and my missus

Think of Master blaster, the big one and you have a good idea how i look! :P

Having been a battletech fan ever since it 1st came out as "Battle Droids" , been hooked ever since, played alot of miniture/table top, then the PC games, even thought the XBOX series was entertaining but not as serious as I would like.....my fav mw game......Mercenaries.....loved the Solaris Games even with the corny announcer.

Made the name from obvious Battle-Tech high stature figures/factions.....

Regarding the codename: Rushyo is a (unique) derivation from Ruzhyo which is a transliteration of Rifle from Russian which was the codename of an assassin in a book I liked as a kid. For a good few years I was simply known as The_Rifle.

Regarding my RP name, 'Joseph Herman'... I'm not sure. I just wanted a character with a different ethnic background to what I'm used to, in an attempt to broaden my RP remit. Since I'm playing Davion, it makes sense that I might have a German/Teutonic background.

Remember a time way back in the Day before Hackers were terrorists or cheaters in games?

Back in the Day of my teenage youth i was in command of an Amiga with 1200/75 baud of connectivity.

Me and a few of my friends would spend alot of time attaching to BBS and other near white hat efforts that will go unmentioned.

My time "Playing with" and "Hacking out Code" with early Personal Computer systems lead me to a life of technology. So in my early adult life I became a computer systems profesional.

Naturally I chose a handle that fit my personality::
I went by the handle Hackertiz..
(Tiz being a nickname and Hacker ...well it used to mean something different)

After being banned or kicked from many FPS servers for having a decent amount of skill and a nickname that implied foul play, I since retired the Handle I once so proudly wore into battle.

Now I go with Delscorcho or a version of that if its taken. (Del being my Name and raining fire power upon my foes, being the objective of many digital Avatars I wield in cyberspace.

Way more info than anyone really cares about though.. HAHA

I chose this when I started online games, my dad had started using it in games like Mobsters on MySpace, and I kinda clinged to the name and used it on everything. I use it in nearly all my combat online games now.

This is my old CSS /HL2:DM nickname from my clan, which they say is fitting to my playstyle.

In not one to patiently wait back and see what the others are planning for us... I rush in and there are only 2 states for the game after that... either I arrive in the middle of the opponents team taking down every one of them, or I arrive in the middle of the opponents and end up a +1 point for them before I can hit anything :P .

and my KD ratio was well above 1, so it seems to have played out most of the time.

I tried my favorite character name that I use everywhere, then another, and another, each time being told it was unavailable. Then I tried previous game/character names I have used, old star trek characters. Then I got grumpy and typed something stupid that I'm pretty sure I've remembered from a story someone once told me about something funny they read.... and of course it worked. So hear I am.... I've read the novels since I was a kid and enjoyed having a unique reference to them. Having used several handles over the years, this one has stuck the longest and is pretty much how many gamer friends know me.

I thought everyone was going to go for a moniker llike ghostrider or iceman. If I had known then what I know now I would have chosen another name all together.
