Remove The New Map

Out of the experience i have playing this map i have seen fights happen all over. The different game modes are fun on the map too. I enjoy playing conquest and assault just as much as i enjoy playing skirmish on polar highland.
If you're tried of LRMs, get radar deprivation or an ECM friend; i dont see what the issue is here.

I know, take ECM and AMS. Stay in the Trenches. Look for Spotters ad UAVs. It's the sheer size of the map that makes it tough to hide from being spotted when the opponent uses flanking movements. Luckily it takes a good three or four minutes to even try o flank.
Few of us like being the target of non-stop LRM fire. Even LRM boat pilots hate this (being on the receiving end of it at least).
Let the voting system do it's job. I've already noticed the new map "losing"a lot more than a new map should.
At least I don't hate the Alpine map anymore. I have a replacement.

Lrms are much in evidence so avoiding them until you get into brawl range is a must. Getting this to work in a Pug is challenging but you just need your team to be marginally better coordinated than the enemy.
I'd welcome more like this using desert, forest, tourmaline assets.

Apparently all the PUGs that keep going center do, and they're sheep to the slaughter.
Outside of the center, there's clusters of cover, trenches that'll kill locks (especially with radar dep), etc. etc.
The end of the last match I was in had two survivors with 9 kills between them.
One was a Stormcrow with 2xLRM 10 and a single LPL. The other one was an MPL/SRM brawler that swung wide and then just barreled along behind the line and pulped things.

I agree.
Yes I saw people abusing LRMs last night. I knew it was bad when most clanners I saw were boating LRMs. When SCR's have 3xcLRM15s, you know its boat time. And there were many other opportunistic players packing NARC last night and they were having a ball.
But once I got past LRMs (and joined them at times with my own LRM-centric mechs), I found the map introduced interesting tactics.
One game the other team tried to sit back and LRM us to death and they had 3 spotters behind us. Once we turned, ran down the trenches to the spotters and wrecked them the LRMs were blind to us. We advanced in cover, closed and ate them up.
In another we death balled, they death balled. But a medium and heavy lance of ours pulled a classic flank of the enemy death ball while they were focusing on the main death ball and we ate them up.
Its like trench warfare. He who goes out into no-man's land, dies fast. But stay in cover, spot for LRMs, or use the cover to close and flank and the game gets good.
Its tough in PUG-land. Not every PUG is going to do this, many will wander around clueless or chase the rabbit, but that's the way it goes in the underhive.

LRMs are not that bad on this map as long as you have learned how to deal with them. Even without ECM, AMS, or radar deprivation.
It is even fun to poke out into the open, just to drop out of sight and see how many LRMs you can get them to waste.

I got NARC'd bad in my shiny new WHM. Poor me, Some WHK was in the back with a ton of cLRM5s and trickled that nasty stuff at me and there wasn't much I could do about it. The rolling hills don't provide hard cover like buildings on River City or the spires of Tourmaline. I had no AMS and I just took my beating until I decided to power off (under cover of course) and the LRMs stopped.
My point is, even with out AMS and ECM near by to help me, and since there was no good cover, and I wasn't packing Radar Derp either, I was still able to stop the rain falling on my head.

So you have no concept of balance, got it!! Everyone is just crying!!
It's already been covered, not all weapons can hit UAVs.
Yeah kill that NARC light, yeah the one you cant see because trenches exist or its too fast to keep up with. Ohh yeah thats right, everyone has to run fast mechs in your opinion...
Take ams, it will kill most narc-beacons until its fired under 200m ...
Let me reapeat something from a match today: No ams, no whine!

even in alpine i get to do some brawling and all other map have some brawling spot some sniping spots
but the heck is up with this new map the trenches are not deep enough to provide cover from lrms and large lasers
