As a ghostbear I'd like a Grizzly... http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Grizzly ... it will probably suck, I'd like it anyway to get a complete set of GB mechs. On the other hand it can jump, looks cool and would look nice next to my Kodiak. And hitboxes will be interesting... ;)

Releasing IIC's of the unseen roght after they just got released would be incredibly lazy to me. Let th IS club play with thier new mechs and allow them some uniqueness. Plus IIC's are rather eh to me? Would rather see real Clan designs not IS chassis slightly altered and given clan tech. Would rather get a Bane, Grizzly, Stone Rhion (though this one I feel should stay out or be only one varriant for it being rare with in the clans), Mad CatMk.II, Super Nova, ect).

Wave 5 I expect to be Cougar, Pouncer, Nova Cat, Blood Asp. This one being a ways off though and hopefully after the MC-MK.II release (imo ETA 18 months+ for release)

If you bought all of wave 3 and wave 4 King Fisher is the extra mech? I could go along with that.

I know I'm going to be very selective in future 4-packs, for the Clans. I got the top tier in them all, but I usually am not an assault mech pilot. It needs to be something special, like the Bane or Blood Asp, to get me excited for an assault mech, and from here on out our Omnimech selections for assault are meh until we get to the Blood Asp. I much prefer pocket-assault style Clan heavies like the Night Gyr or the Nova Cat. It seems more... efficient that way.

My short list of omnimechs I want to see sooner rather than later still include the Huntsman, Pouncer, Coyotl, Viper, Fire Falcon, Fire Moth, and Night Gyr. Once we have most of those medium mechs in the stable, we really do run out of good omnimechs in time period, and it starts making perfect sense to extend the timeline selection. After that, the Cougar, Nova Cat, and Blood Asp (or MK 2).

Just never include the Bad Lanner. Ever. Posted Image

Don't forget to add the Phantom to the "Please not ever.".... yes it's fast, but wow is it pod space poor!

I've been really careful about the four packs after Wave II, I felt so burned by that pack.... only thing worth wile I got out of that, were the Faction skins, Mad Dog and Hellbringer.... everything else was just.... not worth getting the censorship for saying....

Which is a bit sad considering it can be a dangerous mech in TT :(.

To be honest? I knew what I was getting when I got them. Did anyone here think the MLX was going to be good before it was released? Anyone? How about the Gargoyle?

No, what really burns my butt is that the rewards for early adopter as far as camo, paints, and cockpit items are concerned are identical across all the Clan 4-Packs. What if I don't WANT Smoke Jaguar cockpit items? What if I ALREADY unlocked all "big four" faction paint colors? C'mon! We have the Nova Cats, Steel Vipers, and Diamond Sharks. Even if we can't use them as a playable faction, we could at least have their camo, colors, or cockpit items! >_<

Yeah likewise, and the $120 pricetag for the Omnipack means for me its basically 100% no chance unless it includes mechs that it wont due to timeline.

Huntsman, Pouner, Coyotl and Night Gyr interest me a bit, but not enough probably. I couldn't care less about Fire Moth and Fire Falcon or viper

Here is what I see is on the calendar

- Clan Wave 4 (3053 Omni's)
- Resistance Pack 3 (3053 Bushwacker finally!)
- Clan Battlemech Pack (3055 era)
- Phoenix II
-insert announcement of time jump-
- Mad Cat Mk.II
- First IS OMNI (or worth while Omni)
-Wave 5 ( Cougar, Pouncer(or MW4 Hellhound renamed and canonized as an Omni and under Hellhound name?), Nova Cat Blood Asp
- IS OMNI Response, the good Omni's from the IS

I always found it to be high risk to low reward in TT... Not bad when placed into a mixed Nova of:

2xFire Moth+1xPhantom+2xElemental points

But outside of that I found it too fast to work with more striker units, like the Nova, Storm Crow, Timber Wolf and so on, I was either constantly running those other units and falling behind the Phantom, or not maximizing the defensive numbers that the Phantom could generate by running up to 14 hexes. Either way, the Phantom wasn't a fantastic fit with my main battle stars.

Its more likely:

IS Single Pack (while they work on all the Wave 4 concept art)
Wave 4
Mad Cat Mk. II
IS Omni pack
Single Pack (8 Variants, $90)
Single Pack (10 Variants, $120)
Single Pack (12 Variants, $150)
Single Pack (12 Variants + 50,000 Didgeridoos, $240)

Well he said at the Townhall that because of the lead time for the Omni 4-pack, they might do an IS single with a mech that they already have concept art for just to fill the gap. I am sure of this.

If that's the case, Cyclops, anyone? It did only barely lose to the Mauler Zeus.

That or the Crusader. Though problem with the Crusader is the leg launchers.

Could move those into the side torsos, most likely.

They would be made into ST launchers, just like the leg MG's on the CDA-3C...

Yeah it barely lost to the Zeus. So Cyclops... STD360 eh. I guess just AC20 and SRMs? Maybe drop it down to a 350. I think there is a variant with a few more energy hardpoints as well.

But yeah, the most likely "filler" IS mech is something to continue the Unseen line like the Crusader, the Cyclops, or the Dervish.

That's because striker units tend to favor other striker units. You often seen a one of two drop dec combinations in TT, either the slow push/pressure with mobile heavies/mediums or slower and fat gunbags with really fast backstabbers like the Phantom (C or E).

Or you see 12 light hovervehicles with tag and 4 Nagas.

How I miss the Spaniards...
