Psr Rating

300 damage a match with 2 kills in tier 5 is pretty much perfect for someone in tier 5, you won't move up on a loss with that, you will on a win at least. I'll get called out for epeen stroking, but I'll use myself as an example. I've been leveling my Novas, I am in tier 2, I've been getting 400-600 damage with 2-4 kills on my losses. For that example I'm up against stronger opponents and still doing about twice as much as what you do on my high end.
I've seen tier 5 matches, and I have a bunch of tier 4 friends, but I started out on tier 3 when PSR was added in. It isn't very hard to rack up a load of kills in tier 5 if you are doing good, you don't even really need your team that much if you just go and flank the enemy with enough firepower or speed.
I wish you good luck on climbing the tiers if that is what you want to do, I suggest that you use tactics to flank the enemy, surprise enemies, and always aim for weak points or critical locations for quick kills.
Showing a video of yourself playing to the forums can allow them to critique your play and offer tips.

FRAPS is a thing you can use to record.
You having a 900 match score is dangerously hyperbole. Are you sure you understand the difference between Damage and Match Score?
At this point unless you send us actual videos or screenshots of your end of matches, it sounds like you're exaggerating lots of things and actually do belong in t5.

350 match score (not damage!) will result in an increase of PSR on a loss. So basically, if you do 600+ damage (and get some other stuff, which you will with 600 damage) you'll gain PSR on a loss.
But you don't need to gain on a loss, just don't always lose rating. Then you always gain on wins, and only LOSE sometimes on losses. Cake

PSR needs to change but for completely different reasons. Essentially it is nigh impossible to drop when playing halfway towards how the system works and this because PSR is heavily biased towards damage done. Get yourself a nice alpha build or even better a decent missile spewing monstrosity and make sure you get at least 400-500 damage in per drop you'll rarely see the red down arrow again. Even on losses.

Cannot be true. 900 match score will give you a green arrow on loss and win. Even if you are mistaken and actually had 900 damage you would not have gone down as this level of damage would have given you such a match rating to most probably give you a green arrow and at least an equal sign on a loss.

Nope, it has been made very clear that T4 and 5 will never meet T1.

I've played Dragons as my main Mech since a little bit before the Flame/Fang release, always hated the Fang.
I came to realize it wasn't the Fangs fault but my own and how I tried to force it to operate.I played more of it learned how "I" should play it and now I get consistent scores and mostly green arrows.
Just keep at it you will get better

Nope. Did not happen. Even if you're confusing damage and match score it still did not happen, because 900 damage is at least 450 match score.
If you score more than 400 match points in a loss your PSR goes up. If you score 250-400 match points in a loss your PSR stays the same. The only way your PSR can go down is if you lose AND your match score is less than 250.
We can't help you if you keep spouting nonsense and/or lies.

Sorry if someone´s panties are in a wad now, but there is no way to sugarcoat that.

I wouldn´t be so sure, I´ve also gone down on a 478 MS within less than an hour of rising with a 413, as well as gone up on less than 200 in a TAG + Narc Mistlynx... I´m pretty sure match score alone is by far not everything, I think (and dev posts would support) that it´s how you got that match score that matters more than anything.
As stated in a another thread, I´ll see if I can get some screens to illustrate my point, as I normally couldn´t care less and therefore don´t have any at this time.

That is just nonsense. Test it out for yourselves, I surely did and it is just wrong.
This alt here is T5 and I was able to synchdrop it with my primary account which is T1 multiple times on two computers, however it is way easier to get T5 and T1 in the same match when trying off-peaktimes with restricted servers, in my case EU only.
But telling T1 will never see T5 is just false. Nomatter what PeeGeeEye says. Give it a try.
We even had a father in T5 who claimed multiple times that he gets matched up with his son being T1 in soloQ. Even on opposing sides!
So please stop that pseude-eliteist bs with T1 never seeing T4/T5. MW:O doesn't have the population for this on some servers off peak times.

It's not elitist BS. It's the information provided. If you can provide screenshots showing otherwise, I'd be more than happy to correct the post.

Agreed.
I have done exactly 1 drop T5 on an alt account, to get a taste of how the tiers worked. I could probably write a book on that drop but essentially it boils down to 3 of us playing the match for the entirety of the team who literally did nothing but (try to) lob missiles from an urban environment into the enemies we were engaging. (Yes, most missiles just hit buildings,...) After that drop, I found myself halfway up T4 (yes I know there is a weighing factor in your first drops)
If one is in T5 and finding it hard to climb up one should assume there is a reason for it.
