They are ovaries. The default human anatomical profile is female. If a Y chromosome is present, then the clitoris changes/extends into a penis and the ovaries are sent to the outside. Also, there were no evolutionary advantages to any DNA mutations that could have resulted in nipples failing to develop properly. That is why men have nipples.

Either fix LRM20 or make AC20 shoot in 4 shell bursts Posted Image

Yes they need to do something about this, lrm 20's a waste of space, in MWO

Incorrect. They WERE ovaries, and developed into testies.

Exactly.

This is what i'm talking about. You need to tweet that to russ.

My point was that current LRM 20 spread is like having an AC20 which fires in bursts. And AC20 is only 2 times heavier than the smallest AC, yet LRM20 is FIVE times heavier than the smallest LRM and still inferior.

So lets get this straight, the Archers Quirks have turned into ovaries or testicles ?

I'm favouring testicles, because they're a load of balls

After all, it's a really beautiful mech. Good job Alex and the 3D team.

Now give it some useful quirks.

I'm fine with ARC possibly coming out underpowered. Numbers can always be adjusted and we don't need broken LRM boats with ECM that are unkillable. Don't want them ending up like 70t Blackjacks for a week or more.

So you're an advocate for not buying them initially and then buying later with c-bills when they've been fixed. (cuz that's what logically follows from your claim)

That might be swell for players since you'll get a balanced mech without spending real money, but it's bad for PGI's business model which kinda requires new purchases to keep the game up and running. It's also a pretty serious marketing blow to all future mech purchases if you always know that they're going to be weaker than existing mechs and then fixed later when you can get them for free.

Sure, for maybe a year, it was. Since the release of at least the TRO3025 in 1986, it has been low mounted. 30 years of history trumps 1-2 years of a direct rip.

Lol not if you run lrm mechs. Bizarre structure quirks, weird mobility quirks and next to no lrm specific quirks or decent missile quirks. Hell my Warhammer 7s has better missile quirks than these mechs. Since when is a Warhammer supposed to be a good lrm boat? Seriously. Missile quirks in line with the catapult would be nice.

Weapon quirks do not make a good mech or bad mech. Again it seems that there are not many people that LRM talking about LRMs.

And people also forget that missiles recently received an overall buff. The spread was reduced and the cooldown was reduced on the larger tubes. This is why they did not need primary weapon quirks for the Archers with large number of tubes but added them for the variants with small number of launchers.

Bizarre structure quirks? They quirked the CT and ST for XL Archers. Is that really that hard to figure out?

Bizarre mobility quirks? Now I really know you don't LRM. LRM boats need to mobile.

They buffed the secondary systems, just like on your Warhammer. Go figure!

But I am guessing this will be lost on everyone. By all means push to buff the Archer, I look forward to your tears before you cry for the hard nerf.

9 tons of ammo for a pair of LRM10s.

See...I have been observing this quite a bit when I solo queue.

A scrub queue LRM build has to "sound impressive" a pair of 10s is not alluring at all to someone who wants to Lolpha LRMs onto everything. You really cannot even start to think of something being worth it in their eyes until we are talking about a pair of 15s minimally, and a pair of 20s is even better.

By the time you burn tonnage for a pair of 15s or 20s on a 50-55 ton mech...you are out of tonnage for ammo.

The problem is simple really, it is hard for you to rationalize because you are thinking logically. It took me a while to wrap my head around it as well...until I recently had a conversation with a new recruit to CWDG about what they liked about LRMs (I was having a conversation with him about hard counters, and why they are inferior....).

Once he explained the appeal to me...it became clear.

When it comes to LRMs in the scrub queue...bigger is better...and more ammo must be more win.

While anyone with half a brain cell knows LRMs suck, completely...the "LRMz R Gud 4 stuf 2 gaiz!" crowd sees it that more LRMs must be better than a few LRMs.

Blah blah...lrms duck

No one here cares about your opinion. Go spew laser vomit and jerk your epeen while thinking you have skillz.

honestly i think Archer is getting whacked in the face much worse by LRMs needing an adjustment, and LRM15/20 being utterly useless than the quirks, even though the quirks are bad

can we please atleast adjust LRMs to the point where competent LRM users stop getting outright insulted for just the weapon choice by a certain minority?

Wouldn't that kind of be a good reason to give (at least the 2R) some LRM20 specific quirks to make it not the worst possible LRM launcher in the game? Kind of like how the Warhammer 6R and Marauder 3R got major quirks to make their PPCs not total garbage?

(BTW, I run PPCs in the arms of ALL my Warhammers, like God and Kerensky intended)

Like maybe 20/30% less LRM20 spread on the archers that run a LRM20 standard.

I'm still wondering about the +7 on the left and right legs on the 5s Looks like it should have been the RT and Lt.

no - there needs to be a 20/30% less LRM15 and 20 spread on the launchers

quirking a mech does not fix a worthless module - the module needs to be fixed

not to mention LRMs in general need more speed and less INCOMING MISSILE
