Old Capquest Bad...new Worse!

On the other hand... Domination kinda cool. It is what capquest should have been.
When I started this game MWO was still new, and I thought that Conquest was a place holder for a soon to come "realistic game mode". Now after so much time I'm left wondering who in PGI likes this mode so much that its still being nursed along?
This dose not meen that I hate PGI, they are trying hard. Just wish they would get the hint that is given to us by the new voting method. First 6 matches with capquest as an option only 1 match had 1% voting for it the other five were 0% . After 6 matches I played another 10 and of those the few capwarriors had built up enough multiplyer to gain there mode twice (once just barly). Don't believe me PGI, look up my stats...they don't lie. If any players don't believe me just ask PGI to give us a straight vote (no multiplayer) and you will watch capquest die away.

I can assure you, there is nothing about Alpine, in any game mode, that caters to an Assault.

if anything i think conquest here should be like everyother FPS. respawns, respawns everywhere.

There's no way it's intentional to have you sit around for a few minutes when you have more caps than the dead enemy team and are ahead on points already. Unless the dead team is ahead on points or caps the round should still end immediately becuase there's literally no possible way for them to win.

Myself, I've actually had more Conquest than anything since yesterday's patch with a dozen or so matches.

Mode is lame, i will more then likely not be playing much until this is resolved, Domination is pretty lame too. Better then what we have now for modes but it needs work too.
So i guess its off to PoE for a few days until these issues are resolved.

and like the other guy said, If the math does not work, for the team that's dead to win.. the game should just auto finish. To me, there is zero difference, if you are going to loose on caps, with one guy hiding or the team dead.. You did not do a good enough job to keep them from cap wining, and you need to flip them to win. But, if everyone is dead, and the winning team is also leading on caps, the team should win, a simple code change would work in that scenario and probably the simplistic.
Funny, how many people complain about nothing more than death match,, a mode you actually have to do an objective and kill, people complain about and pick skirmish.. I'm at the point that i don't think any game more will make people happy.

They changed the rules so that cap is fully required. And a team which is theoretically dead but has enough bases could actually win. But now crowd B is complaining that they just want skirmish variant type conquest ( so play skirmish right?)
I remember when we only had two modes of assault and conquest only.
Cant please everyone.
I just want turrets back in Assault. That's crowd C.

Conquest, along with Assault, was supposed to be a mere placeholder. But then PGI not only decided to turn placeholders into "main features", they also decided to add Skirmish. Argh!!!!
