Mini map sucks so much that I won't play until there's a fix. Awful. Godamn awful.

I just want to say that minimap excluded (Which I hear will be getting tweeked later, no big deal) I really like the changes.

If its not compatible with new command wheel, get rid of the command wheel, most of us don't need or want it. Or at least let us disable the generic voice of that.

I like the command wheel. It's easy to get used to a new minimap.

Bad miscalculation on the part of PGI - the minimap is an integral part of navigating a mech on the battlefield.  Changing it so drastically essentially changes the way the game is played.  They might as well as changed the movement keys from WASD to IJKL - all the reflexes and control skills that took time to hone are tossed out the window.  We know there are PGI folks who play the game - I wonder why they didn't warn them about this before inserting it into the patch.
As for me, I can't play more than two matches at a time now because (no kidding) I get motion sickness from the disorientation from the mini-map - because it is not changing in the way I expect it to change, it's like my frame of reference is continually being jerked back off center.


My point is that for some players it is not just resistance to change - change isn't necessarily bad, but on the other hand it isn't automatically good.  In this case, I think PGI has to look at the fundamental change that they are instituting, and that it runs to the very core of the game.

When people say things like this - on either side of the fence - it's a great indicator that they're idiots with nothing valuable to contribute.

We're all the same gamers. Having an IS or Clan tag says nothing about who you are or what you want.

Hell, you might notice that not a lot of people play FW at all. Those who don't? We typically have IS AND clan mechs. In fact, I'm willing to bet I have more IS mechs than fully 90 percent of the IS players in this game.

A huge number of us - I'm willing to bet most, given how vacant FW tends to be - want ALL our mechs to be decent, viable choices.

So, quite frankly and sincerely, you can stuff your gross generalisations.

Uh... no. Fact check: early leavers were never and will never be banned in Overwatch.

Mass bannings were for hackers. There is an experience penalty for repeated early leaving.

But still, this map was horrible indeed. First impression was nice, but when used in combat it sucks big time. On the other side, i really like the Camo-rose. Only the spotting key should be possible to direct bind on crosshair/arm-cursor. This is much quicker to react when u see an enemy.

as this new patch rolled, i see why so much hate on the mech rescale and the minimap.
Usually, im on rational side, life gives lemon sometimes, so does PGI.

The rescale is OK imo, though my Jenner get a little bigger, but all in rational reason. I guess those who cry over rescale are being "irrational".

On my first match yesterday score was 0:4 after two minutes from the start. Because my team was playing in Command Wheel, not playing MWO. I disabled command wheel sounds, because it not helps me, it just adds spam.

Please return old FROZEN CITY NIGHT as additional map, I miss it.

How do you disable command wheel sounds? Agree, many people liked Frozen City Old map. It should be in a circulation.

Well.. it is good that they upgade new mini-map with features from older one. But with all that fuss it came to me that older map was more like a car navigation GPS system, while new mini-map introduced a day ago was like old, classic paper maps. And to read the latter a skill is needed and as a person who grew up on classic maps i didn't find any trouble using the new mini-map.
Altought I still think the old one was simply better, clear, quicker to read.
Apart from it it was funny to shoot at ppl when it was clear they are lost on map...

Can we just have all the old maps back in the queue with the new ones? I mean...more map variety is good for everyone right?

Old Frozen City is good map but not for 12 vs 12. That's it.
