Give us the old mini map back. Play your patches afew hours before realease...same sh####over Years now-patch hotfix patch hotfix.. START TO LEARN ANYTHING. If i would do my job like you i could go home after one day Jezzz

Take your phranken Camo from my k2 and just give me the MC´s back...how can DEvs be that hard useless clueless The phranken Camo on the K2 was the best locking Camo on a mech. WAS.... Facepalm...

mini map is crap, was better before.
command wheel was not necessary, one more button to stumble on ( for commands we have voice chat )
new frozen city...same as with classic forest colony, cool map that was f%$k up.

only re-scale and quirk revision was good all the rest was again a waste of time and resources, why when PGI does two goods there is always 3 bads with it ?

There is a better solution for mini-map - just give us the ability to zoom in and out. Just like in Battlefield games for example. This map is not usable in current state.

Atlas... friking HUGE! It's like a mountain now. It could use more armor points now because it's much easier to hit.

mini map fail... needs to be able to zoom in at least... not sure what point of it was except to make several modules worthless and to not be able to see what is going on around you..

Blackjack, best mech gets nerfed, gets enlarged to heavy scale for some reason and the 1x gets its main use acc/dec lowered...

tested multilple games, noted difference, iam a bigger target and can't manuver as once before... and with new mini map totally no idea where i am at and what is going on aroudn me...

- I remember Atlas in great MechWarrior3 game. It was that huge and stomping. It must be like that. So - that's ok. I'm Atlas pilot from the start of that game. Atlas and Catapult - my pro mech for many years... So - that scale by tonnage was nice idea. But also - need to calibrate taking damage also by tonnage and size. Now you easy can understand which mech light or medium. Except Catapult... it really looks small and cool. But it always was most fragile mech who lost it's arms from 3-4 direct hits.

but now several of those means are gone. Sure i remember where my legs are, but unless I turn that amateuristic (and very immersion-killing) leg-pointer-arrow option on I can't, in one glance get that info.

I've been promoting the "don't complain before you give it a chance" attitude since few years back, but dropping this apparently un-tested.. thing (and with only 1 single line in the notes) is kind of a slap-in-the-face, even to a veteran PGI-suffering pilot.
And judging from the forums and in-game cursing, it's NOT an isolated view.

Minimap 2.0 improvement suggestions:
-Leg/Torso direction gone (This is horrible.. Who EVER uses their LEGS direction to navigate???)

-Too small to see any detail (maybe make zoom-level a setting, or just zoom out SLIGHTLY relative to old one)

-Grid legability is gone (granted, with CommandWheel-stuff it's less important, but I like to SEE in a GLANCE which grid, not having to actually READ.)

-Directionality is gone, map rotating with mech (Now, THIS is the only one that we might get USED too, but ONLY if the others are fixed.)

Huge failure patch.

1) rescaling up the lights makes them worse, so light que will go from 5% to zero. Terribad
2) minimap is horrid (<----and I want to be kind with that)
3) the poor PXH is taller than some heavies. Terribad.
4) I'll find something more... don't worry.

- Now i think that icons of mech types on battlefield - pretty nice... Really useful... But only there. On minimap i can see them only if i have 28" display. Not my 19" or 22"

I'm glad we finally got a command wheel (granted I won't be using it much since I prefer voip), but at least the non-mic people have a chance of actually communicating without desperately typing out messages.

However, like everyone else the scale on the minimap is way to small and the old one is by far superior in almost everyway. So...you better patch that soon PGI.

frozen city has left its soul behind. it was one of the few real brawling maps, now you got this huge bloody valley you HAVE to get through.
snipers everywhere, LRM everywhere
a big no for me

also, NO clue about the new map, features, mechs or re-scale...

...all I notice is the frustration of the minimap. In my rage I only mildly noticed that the locust coring me out without me being able to tell from my Seismic where the **** he is looked a bit tiny indeed..

I found that to unbind the E button in the settings ( Keyboard ) solves the issue with the command wheel, its the way to turn that useless thing off.

I never post on forums. This is my first post complaining.

You have ruined the mini map and navigation in general. Do you play this game? against other live opponents?

The mini map is ruined. It needs the ability to zoom in and out if you want it that zoomed out.
It no longer rotating.... its a bigger deal than you think.

Removing allies and known (targetted enemy) directional facing is a big deal.
Large groups that use voice comms will be even better because they coordinate movement.
Small groups that rely on the direction of facings to plan. Gonna be bad times for more casual players.

Fix it.
