I'm pretty sure the Devs here at MWO have stated before that they are focused on Mech combat and not tanks, planes, battle armor, etc.

Don't forget we're mimicking a timeline in game in real time, and in about a year the SHTF and they're going to have a busy schedule getting the Clan invasion ready to go.

A. At the moment we are not following up with combined arms (tanks, hovercraft, jets etc.)
You may want to try MechWarrior: Living Legends for the time being. Its a combined arms game, incl. 'Mechs, Tracked Vehicles, Hovercrafts, VTOL, Aerotech and BattleArmor.

Also don't forget about those who want to ride purple ponies or pink unicorns into battle!

Unfortunately from memory Naval weapons can only fire on objects the size of other warships

Anyone else get the impression that 90% of MWO's revenue is going to come from selling My Little Pony decals for mechs?

If the bronies have to pony up (tee-hee) real money to replace every pony sticker that I burn off their rides with my PPCs, this game will make bank and I will be so, so, so happy it's disturbing.

I think it's more that because the weapons were so big they couldn't target or track objects smaller than dropships/warships. If an fighter or something else small got in the way it would still be obliterated.

Please no. Don't turn this into MW:LL or Battlefield 3. Stay in 'Mechs, no other vehicles.

- Actual missions.
- A survival type mode where you need to defend against waves of enemies (choppers, tanks, etc).
- A DOTA type mode where you need to support friendly units (tanks, choppers, etc).
It would make it feel like an actual war.
