Can everyone just drop out of the tournament already so we go back to fixing the game?
I mean if you win sure you'll get money, but no one will think you're the top team, seeing as too many teams had to quit due to over restricted rules and unrealistic time dedications. You have to be unemployed to participate in the tournament. I only work 15 days a month and I still wouldn't be able to commit.
At this point, you can't go back on your word on the tourney... as much as a failure it is for the rest involved. It's ripe for even more burnout than before and moreso on the comp player front (not that you'd care or anything).
It only serves to cause more backlash.. I mean when I open up Steam and I see the CS:GO tourney promo... and imagine what would happen if that was cancelled. For CS:GO, it would be not catastrophic, but a huge loss in money. For PGI, it could just outright kill the game... at least damage it even further.
