How long is it supposed to take to update the eligibility screen? upgraded a purchase, which should have made me eligible for the Stalker, but hasn't registered for 2 hours...

[Answered - daily 10am PDT/noon CST for those who stumble on this]

I have preordered the complete Cyclops Package, and upgraded my Warhammer to the Collectors Pack today but it still says on my profile I am not eligible for the Top Tier IS rewards.....

The eligibility confirmation page updates once daily at 10AM PDT, so your eligibility status should display correctly once the page refreshes tomorrow morning.
I'll get the page updated with some text explaining that.

I'd love to get the ECM Stalker. But I'm simply not going to spend an extra $20 on a collectors pack to get it.

Collectors Packs - one extra Mech, which is effectively the same as one you already bought in the base pack - are just bad value.

Even a 'free' ECM Stalker won't make a Collectors Pack worthwhile.

I did! I upgraded my Rifleman and Cyclops packs because I like more C-Bills and I like Stalkers.

At the same time, I let my girlfriend [REDACTED] with [REDACTED] fortnight, biannually with the neighbors. So, I am a sucker for punishment.

The spirit of these Rewards is to show our appreciation for players who acquire different levels of purchasable content. The Top-Tier Inner Sphere and Clan Rewards are intended for players who have acquired either the highest tier of one of the original Packs, or two Collector Packs under the newer Pack systems. The two Collector Pack eligibility condition was an addition we made during last years’ Customer Appreciation Program based on your feedback, and is an addition we carried over to this year.
For players who have acquired Standard Packs, or Standard Packs and Add-Ons, the base Inner Sphere or Clan Reward is offered.

The Spirit of this, is to drag 40 more dollars out of your whales, becaus you KNOW that a lot of people dont buy the collectors pack for their horrible value, which you could have also gathered from feedback. I am a staunch supporter of your game, i have oftentimes defended PGI's approach, but this is atrocious, because it shows how predatory you treat your customers.
And dont get me wrong, I understand you are a business, but dont call this customer apprectiation program then, because that is just cynical.

This in no way shows appreciation, but only forces a certain set of purchases, which in no way reflect the Investment that one customer made towards this game (BEFORE this was even announced), which I thought, would be the appreciated part, not that i bought a pack in the "Spirit" of things and to get another Stalker.

I dont need to buy mechpacks, I dont need to buy MC, I play 40++++ hours a week and i will keep playing, but my future purchases will be under a tighter scrutiny than before.
Not because I need the top reward, not because I need the stalker, but because of being called "entitled" (by a mod) and being sold this horsehockey by the Lead of Customer Support.

More than 70% of my purchases are not rewarded in any way, and my essential purchases (Mechbays, good Mechs) are more than covered by the remaining 30%. As I have stated on this forum before, I dont make my purchases because of their great value, but because I support the game, which is why I rarely complain about balance of new mechs or anything of the kind.

If this is a Customer appreciation Program, it should be a program to thank the supporters of the game. Like I said before, more then 70% of my purchases are not essential, so just to support the game....I thought this Indie Title would highly appreciate those 400$ of nonessential purchases I threw at them in less than half a year.

Yet, I dont feel appreciated, not one ******* bit. After the Mod and PGI response i actually feel even more slighted then before. Being told that 400$ of your money arent considered appreciated, because you didnt spend them on the right stuff or with the right "spirit" is not a satisfying answer, as you might imagine.

Especially the Mod Response shows a level of contempt I could really do without, when complaining as a paying customer about a customer service feature.

Take this as you will, but im definetly not throwing that kind of money your way again anytime soon.

A question, Mr Garden. Is the Urbanmech pack showing up properly in the system? I have both Urbanmech and Warhammer collectors packs, But am not listed as getting the Top Tier IS loyalty.

Did you purchase those in the last year, as only that time frame qualifies

That would be $80, not $120. It's two of the $40 collector packs, or a $20 add on to go from standard to collector pack. It's not $20 for standard and an additional $40 to "upgrade" to collector packs. It would be $20 for basic, and $20 to upgrade to collector, OR $40 to just buy the collector. (Basically, it's $40 to have a collector pack. no matter how you work it out.)

That's mathematically ********. Any IS-package cost you 80$ and delivers four different mechs, with at least three variants.
If you want to buy mechpacks in the new format and get four mechs, you have to buy four packages, each 20$, sums up to 80$.
But you still don't qualify as top tier reward eligible, despite buying the same - sans an assortment of colours and camos which came free with the Resistance-packs.
So you have to pay an additional 40$, and all you get is an upgrade from your standard variant to a premium mech and a "special" camo - which had been included in a Resistancepack right from the start!

So you pay 40$ more and STILL get less value. That's why PGI likes to sell single mechpacks more than the big bundles of the past.

I agree but one thing with the single mech packs is you could get all heavies and assaults with your money instead of lights and mediums for what it's worth. Personally, I preferred the big $80 packs. I guess this way PGI is getting more money otherwise they wouldn't have switched the business model.

I got the origins II collection, but I guess I got it too early to qualify for the top clan award??? Really?

Don't get me wrong, I got it for the mechs, not the appreciation awards. I do appreciate the thought of this program. But, really??? I don't qualify? Really?????????

So, if I upgrade to Standard Packs I have to Collector's Packs, I qualify for the Top Tier reward? Or do I have to buy Collector's from the start?

If you upgrade two Standard Packs you already own to Collector's Packs you will get the Stalker

if you got the origins pack last year, you got rewards for it last year. The loyalty rewards for this year are for the people who bought it this year. You could go for a different package to buy before the deadline this year and it will qualify you for this year's rewards.

"Eligible Collections (any tier, or any a la carte 'Mech when applicable):

'a la carte' isn't exactly descriptive is it? I've literally just shelled out $70 for the Cyclops and Marauder IIC packs with hero mechs. As I felt with the appreciation mechs these would be worthwhile purchases. Now I find that I bought the wrong 'a la carte' mech and have just wasted $70 on packs that wont even give me what I'm after. Very misleading the way this has been worded. What's wrong with simply stating that you need a collectors pack?

Is there I way that I can cancel these purchases as I feel like I've just been ripped off!

Sorry for the confusion there. A la carte refers to the single-'Mech purchase system we offer for Clan Wave 1, Wave 2, Wave 3, Resistance 1 and 2, and Origins IIC, which can be found at the bottom of each of the respective pages.

Please send off a ticket to billing@mwomercs.com and we can facilitate a refund for those recently-purchased Cyclops and Marauder IIC packs.
