I'm definitely interested in the Bushwacker, but its unlikely i will be buying it, i'm just not interested in spending money on any games atm.

IT barely looks like a Bushwacker, its to thin, like how the Centurion SHOULD be. The Bushwacker should be more like an EBJ. Squat, wide and flat.

Despite any artistic difference, I was so hopeful when I heard a friend claim that the next pre-order was an IS mech. I hoped desperately for a medium mech. Then I heard the possibility of that being a reality. Thought for a brief moment in my utter insanity that I might get a IS mid to fill the role on the IS side my Shadow Cat fills on the Clans. Hopes dashed instantly as this mech was revealed. I'm not mad or anything like that It looks okay. Passing on the pre-order though simply because i'm both strapped for cash at the moment (and can't justify this when i already have the crab).

I look forward to any high agility mech PGI may put forward. the Shadow Cat has certainly spoiled me for mids.

yeah I was really hoping for Assassin myself, though this will probably generate more sales for PGI due to nostalgia. Assassin just would have had a lot of potential as a high speed harasser.

I really doubt it will sell well but I'll never be able to prove it.

I don't thin k anything is selling like they were at the beginning of the year, but as you said, proving it is another story. That said, it does seem like they are aiming for the low hanging fruit, trying to get the nostalgia sales.... And it will probably sell better than the Assassin or Vulcan would have.

That said, the Crusader would likely have sold twice as many units as the BSW will..... but I think too may of the old guard and whales just don't care anymore. The atmosphere and enthusiasm that allowed the Urbanmech to happen? I don't think it would have met it's minimum sales goal were it to have been released today. There just seems to be that much of a pall over this whole game, overall.

Yup it's definitely not a good time here anymore but let's make people wait 90 days before we say anything about the direction of MWO.

Consumer interest is at an all time low and the solution is (wait till MechCon), and for those who do wait the backlash if disappointed will be much worse.

No.

The only thing I'm interested in buying now is the Warhammer IIC.
After that, no cashey money until I see PvE.

Since this is the active Bushie thread and the other one is dropping off...

I've noticed something odd while trying to edit the mech in the orthographic. There is something wrong going on around the torso area of the frontal view. The torso laser is kind of obviously stretched (or crushed) and the housing is a rectangle, not a square. The lens seems to be circular by the pixels, but it sure looks odd. Then from the frontal ortho view, the waist joint seems misaligned or asymmetrical unlike the rear view.

They just announced the functional closure of FW. It's likely PGI is investing in a new game and keeping investment in MW:O to a minimum and hoping people buy mech packs anyway.

PVE has been a big push for me too.

So would you be more likely to buy stuff knowing that PVE is the next step or learning that 90 days from now? Yes I know your answer would be now.

It was the NGNG podcast that wasn't a townhall, but it was a townhall, but only about FP.

No cashey money until I SEE PvE.
I'm not falling for that "90 Days Out" or "We're Working On It" or "Soon" felgercarb.

Yeah. Pretty much a lot of just closing up shop on stuff and proposed changes. Nothing really to bring people in, just trying to deal with people getting matches still as everyone leaves.

It's like a shop that's closing just cleaning and removing shelves and moving what's left up near the front instead of putting up new stock. They may not have a 'going out of business sale' in the window but it doesn't take a genius to see what's happening.

This, so much this, though the legs don't need to be shorter necessarily since the ortho is for the T-pose.

I was up in the air on it but if what I'm hearing about the changes to FW are true I won't need it. I'm just glad he spilled the beans before I grabbed it. And to think I was thinking about upgrading a couple packs toncollecroes to get that stalker.

I hear EVE is doing some interesting f2p stuff. It may be time to go take another look at that. He'll if they made it easy to give them money to subscribe I may reup.

I may just get a refund for the packs yet to be delivered with this news, not that I care about FW, but them giving up on it is never a good sign.
