If they haven't learned yet to ignore that group, then it's their problem. There are other games I can spend my time and money on.

Considering that you haven't explained how they are good for the game... it remains to be seen.
It doesn't fix what you think it aims to fix... if anything mixed builds get screwed over even more under ED.

Said the guy with the mech in his name that would get punished the most with ED. Well, not if you put lrms and mgs in your atlas i guess.

And I live in Japan.
So...ED is delayed then?

If ED comes out, my Timber Wolf Prime lore loadout becomes a walking death trap. I know where I am going if my lore builds die.
Man, The stock Timberwolf Prime IS a deathtrap. I played one on an alt account to see how long it would take before I could purchase one (60 matches, with an event going on). 2 LTM20's and only 2 tons of ammo? One machine gun and one MPL? That's pretty terrible. If you can make it work, I salute you.

No, but can you find the logic in LRMs and AC's both draining from a reactor, and magically generating new heat when they fire within a period of each other? Because I definately can't.
*PGI introduces real physics to MWO* Players drop on Bog. The mechs lose their footing and float on the water and have to paddle towards each other using their hands.

Hmmm, well it's good they found out prior public release.
So ghost heat is going to be effect as usual then, right?

You mean they listened to the majority? 73% of a 600 player sample said they didn't like it. You are in the minority. Also, you realize that Atlases get hurt by ED but those "OP Arctic Cheetahs" don't get touched at all, how will you possibly deal with them!?!?!?

Why? The Kodiak-3 is too strong, but why are the rest of mechs needing to be toned down? TTK is no shorter than other MechWarrior games, and is much longer than other shooters... whats the big deal? Why sacrifice fun, variety, and balance for this?

50? ...200. Plus a few more. Like maybe a few 10 more.
I have built literally every mech I have based on the current ghost heat system (and how to avoid the penalty whenever possible). I don't even get enough time to play anymore, let alone rebuild that many robits.
Based on the largely negative feedback ED has gotten, I am glad this is at least temporarily shelved. I mean, I only get to play like 1-5 matches per night and sometimes not at all, so introducing something that would so drastically effect how mechs are built and how the game is played would be kind of a big blow right now.

My response goes back to the fact that PGI thought enough to put it on the PTS (As useful as that may be) and made clear it would not go live unless it essentially fixed more than if broke.
Instead, folks like yourself continued to ignore this proposition and instead belabored over the fact that it had it's faults (All of which reviewed and discussed ad nauseum) and continued to treat AD like it was written in stone.
PGIs fully culpable for creating this environment where nothing they say or do is trusted or considered reasonable and equitable.
That said, at some point this community is going to have to accept some concessions through the effort to balance this game or nothing they do will ever be good enough.
Don't you worry. The devs will field some new turdburger in no time flat, and you will be free to continue trying to force the community to concede to whatever it is.

So, how will these affect the current gameplay, and I am OK with them delaying ED (and further testing of such) while seeing how these new balance items, what ever they may be, pan out.

I have no problem if ED would have made me rebuild all 148 of my mechs. Heck lego mechs is half the fun of this game.
But I loathe the idea of rebuilding them for a schema that has no rhyme or reason to it. ED in its most current iteration on the PTS simply lacks any defined goal or purpose (as far as I can tell) other than to randomly change as many weapons' performance characteristics as possible. Which of these changes are relevant to the presumed goal of reducing alphas? I have no clue, and I don't think the devs do either at this point. Its as if they made a soup with all the ingredients they had lying around and have now lost sight/forgotten what kind of soup they wanted in the first place.

That's why Huntsman was my last mech pack I've bought so far
While back on the subject.
They've dropped ED so easily that probably means they will quickly come with something so goddamn awful that it goes right through last worst idea on the scale which was Minimap change. Just to add something "big" in their mind.
They might as well force inverse temporal change to your control scheme after you've been hit with PPC so you suddenly have to click "A" to move forward and "W" to turn right". That's how much faith in their creativity and well thought plans I have for them at this point. This coupled with dartboard type of balancing we've seen so far (last seen example uac jam chance "balance" for jaegermechs and few other).
One redeeming factor so far is new Therra Therma which sets a trend for better maps in the future.
That doesn't mean I've forgot how they f#cked over one of the best maps (IMO) that was Frozen City.
Just remove that canyon in the middle of the map between city parts, level it with the city part and fill the "hole" with more buildings with occasional bigger crossroads as focal points of the map (like the fallen ship with mechs inside was on the old one).
