The Uziel is a 50-ton Cataphract.

Cataphracts are dead.

Overall silhouette is that of a Cataphract. The arms are a bit higher and the cockpit is a ball, but from a recognition standpoint those are minor details and it still has the look of a Cataphract.

The Cataphract also sports disparate weapons, so there's that, too.

I hate Cataphracts.

I honestly don't see what you see. It looks nothing like a Cataphract to me. Not even a little bit.

I don't even see enough of it to argue against it. It just... isn't.

Oh well.

Yeah, no, I don't see the resemblance at all.

The silhouette is pretty similar tp the Cataphract. Either way it would be somewhere around mediocre in game.

The silhouette is pretty similar but the arms are more horizontal and it has a belly cockpit. It would have issues with convergence and being exposed before you can see the enemy.

Oh FFS.

I shouldn't even have to make a bad shop out of this., it's so painfully apparent:

I am praying that they completely disregard the Top 5 IS choices. God, those are terrible.

The Sunder isnt terrible but even I would rather thsy bring in the Nightstar or Thunder Hawk right now... and I love the Sunder.

Should've said 4. I'm actually okay with the Sunder even if it is less than stellar because at least it is interesting. It does something new that no other 'Mech in the game does by being an IS Omni. It's a new set of restrictions to work around in the 'MechLab and make work on the field.

It's also why I would like the Raptor even if there are better Lights to be had.

If the 'Mechs we get are not going to be good performers, they should at least do something genuinely new.

I wouldn't. That's five crap-cans (4 IS, 1 Clan), five wasted opportunities, five months more I'd have to wait to get a decent IS 'Mech. The last one was the Rifleman, and it's not that good.

Stone Rhino...just...why? Not so bad since all of the other 'Mechs it would release with are Class A performers, but the Rhino just seems like a total waste with the KDK and DWF and Mad Cat Mk. II in there.

well not every mech is going to be meta greats just saying. Honestly this would just make power creep worse. I am not for putting in every crappy mech but some are eh, specially if they tie in nostalgia and will sell (just dont QQ when its not that great on the field.)

Or the Bane... I'm actually kinda happy it hasn't done better in the poll because it'd be crazy

Yeah I've been mastering them and while fragile with lowish mounts they're fun for their speed.

Depends on whether they try to emulate any of the future variants, a 100 ton mech with JJs and 1B/1E in the torsos would be definitely interesting but also may power creep the Kodiak.
