The quriks are iffy, i removed the PPC velocity in favor of immense ppc heat generation and improved general heat generation. Having removed he LB10 into AC5, i don't want to touch the DPS part so i simply added velocity quirks. As for the MISSILES, i just added small missiles as well.
How's this for the new pulsar? Note, the Missile Hardpoints would be at the "Forehead" and, along the spine. The green is the entire missile rack, and the yellow dots are the specific missile tube.

Same missile racks on the spine. This version however, is the torso-dakka version, like how the Dakka is paywalled on the Black Widow, assuming that many is on board with a pay-to-optimize. To prevent the more effective dakka, i'd remove the ballistic quirks, saved for the MG.
Like the last time, quirks are IFFY cause i know squat about balancing something like this, but that is the spirit of the new Pulsar. The AMS might be overkill, but honestly i've piloted a King Crab and i would say, i'd put an ECM too -- but why it's balanced i would presume is that it eats up a lot of tonnage.

Designed around year 3051, The KGC-B0531 "Pulsar" is a pet project led by the chief-engineer Yuna Cassel of the Comstar Techs, competing for the title of "Clanbuster" but lost to a way simpler idea to retrofit the original King Crab, the KGC-001 upon the year 3052. The variant still exist, and can be bought made-to-order, but is too expensive for mass production armies and only sought market with rich collectors and private mercenaries, and use with home-planet defense such as the Royal Guards.
Particularly a deviant design, it was armed by two PPCs matching the damage rating of a single AC20, in each arms totaling of four, as opposed of autocannons or even gauss-rifles. This solved the ammunition shortages of the original King-Crab, relying on the reactor instead, as well as the faster projectile allowed it to hit targets much easier. Among the armaments are 4 machine-guns, two on each side-torso, as well as Anti-Missile System of equal count at each side torso to shield the mech from missiles. And situated on the center torso and the head, are three LRM5 racks upon the spine and face. The engine is upgraded to STD 310 slightly faster movement speed, and it has four external double-heat-sinks to make the mech fairly cool.
The KGC-B0531 "Pulsar" is a particularly problematic design, due to it's deviant nature, weapons have to be custom-fit, and collaboration from other manufacturers were made, with assets exported from planet to planets, resulting into a needlessly expensive 'Mech. The meticulous custom-fitting of weapons however, allowed increased efficiency of performance, such as the PPCs heat is dissipated faster and faster projectiles, machine-guns and AMS that hit farther and shoot faster, and the LRM rack with faster missile delivery.
Upon the year 3069, the design schematic of the Pulsar were unearthed from the facility captured by Corsara Weaponries, serving as an inspiration for the improved KGC-008.

Snazzy Dragon kind of pointed it out, but i do share the concern, i do know that it's pay-to-optimize. While maybe it's a little factor, it doesn't come with bonified dakka quirks, i even lessened the turn-rate to 25%.

I guess the main attraction of the Hero is the Energy hardpoints looking at the name (Pulsar).
People will not honor the spirit of your King Crab Hero on the v2.

Sure, i know that, people are free to build as they want, hell even without that 2B on each ballistic, people can still use LPLs instead of PPCs, or just put ERLLs. You can't really force people to play a certain build, to play a certain way. While i am sure that people will just use 4x UAC5 there, then again there will be others that would use PPC as well, just as King Crab is used for the fun, so is it's AC20 builds, not because it's the best performing Assault. Likewise not everyone run on meta and just want to enjoy the game.

I occasionally use 6 MGs on a KGC. Trolling on hot maps when it gets brawly and I am the only one not needing to cool off
