Yah, I've been mulling it over in my head. I guess ECM is a given, so 8 energy hard points (Assuming all variants show up). I've never boated that hard, but I suppose the appropriate mix of MPLs, MLs, and LLs is buried somewhere in a BJ-1X build thread.

EDIT: I was looking at the Sunder yesterday as well. It's hard points aren't quite as numerous or varied as I thought - It's not going to have too many tricks, I think.

Maybe the one mech where the IS SL has some kind of value?

Maybe something like one ERLL for trolling and then 10 SL (30 damage lol) to smack people who think you aren't equipped for close combat?

I finished the Black Hawk KU sheet.



I will admit that I was surprised by the extreme hardpoint famine in every variant except the Prime and Alternate E. This thing is jealous of the Summoner Prime.

Perhaps. That's actually a very competent build all by itself. 5x ERSL (mb) with 1x LL? 39 poke damage. Hot as the sun, but it's going to really hurt anybody you can slap within range.

Raptor really is a pocket-Blackjack.

Doesn't matter, the raison d'être for the Blackhawk-KU is really to mass medium lasers, just like its source.

The hardpoint famine of most Blackhawk KU variants made me consider the Avatar for a moment...



...But then the Avatar's hardpoint homogeneity (or outright famine as well) made me un-consider it. Black Hawk it is, I guess.

I decided to go against my word and do another one tonight.



The Alt. C is another reminder of how the IS LB 20-X is a sad weapon (has to have critsplitting to ever fit on anything).

Why do i get the feeling that IS Omnimechs will suck? If they're stuck at XL engine then they would be most likely forever vulnerable, stuck at STD engine would have less powerful weapons. Not to mention that Endo and FF eats up a lot of space. Aside from that, IS are stricken with larger and heavier weapons.

Some of them are no worse than their Battlemech counterparts. Some of them are dreadful. So it's mostly more of the same, Inner Sphere wise.

The Raptor and the Men Shen appear to be very, very nice. The Strider and Owens, as much as I love them both... not so much.

Hauptmann has a Standard engine, so it would probably be pretty tanky.

It has the speed and agility of a Dire Whale, but less firepower due to hardpoints and pod space.

Not really worth it.

And yea I know outside of a ST mount with a standard engine, nothing in the IS hanger can mount a LB-20X with out Crit splitting.... It's one case where I'd like PGI to deviate from TT rules and make it 9 crits... Along with making the LB-2X and 5X smaller and lighter weight than the standard AC/'s....
