Is there a way to find out the quirks (or whatever passes for quirks post skill-tree) for these mechs? Is there a tab or link for that information somewhere? For some of them, just seeing the hard points isn't enough to determine if it would be worth it (e.g. having 2 missile hard points isn't enough to tell me if the Black Knight Partisan really be worth it, because I need to know how it accelerates, twists, etc. as well).

Thanks in advance!

No, and there won't be until the Skill Tree is released. Until the Skill Tree is finalized, anything they said now would be misleading at best.

As far as I know there are no early adopter rewards, so you can wait until PGI release the mechs...

Most funny camo in the game! I am rofl.

It does look somewhat like a demented Kermit the Frog, does it not?

Also, quirks and the like are released as part of the 'countdown' prior to when a mech is first injected.

So are these the mech announcement for March or are we gonna see a new mech being introduced these following days?

If the lightbar on the K9 works when you make a kill, along with a VERY loud warhorn that states "You are under arrest", then PGI better TAKE MY MONEY! I don't care if the lights and sound give my position away, or draws more aggro. It will be worth it!

This is the warhorn you are looking for Posted Image

Probably next week so they have a little cooldown after the Javelin final hours, but maybe at the end of this week.

Thats my guess anyway.

PGI, the consensus is in, you need to commit that the Urbie's Police lights work to ensure a solid # of pre-orders!

All we need is a commitment to this and I think you'll have a good response.

Yes, we know it will call attention to us.

Yes, we know that might get us focused.

Yes, we don't friggin' care b/c it will be GLORIOUS!

Well someone, somewhere need to bug Russ about those urbie police lights and tell they need to blinky, blink. Like when gotten a kill. That reminds me, the Night Gyr should get the laser heatsink glow in the dark effect too, when near overheating shutdown.

I told myself I wasn't going to spend any more money on pre-orders.... but, if the Urbie has toggle lights, done deal. Lights on a kill... maybe order. No working lights, nah, I'm good.

I am happy with that pack, cashflow permitting I will probably get Grinner, Katana Kat, Florintine and Skokomish, I am on the fence about Deputy Dawg or K9 as PGI decided to call it

Now, when they get arround to doing the Origions IIC heroes they now had better include Grinner in there, the Mech of Kahn Phenon Kell of Clan Wolf in Exile, with the new skill tree doing away with the 3 to master requirement there is nothing to stop a Clan rebuild of Grinner, the only Wolfhound IIC in lore, and as it is a Clan rebuild not a whole new Mech (same as Yen Lo Wang if they ever do the Wolf Dragoons refit edition) there is no reason they cannot use the same model.

Q: How were the names of these Hero 'Mechs determined?
The Inner Sphere "Resistance" Hero 'Mech names are inspired either by the characteristics and actions of their associated 'Hero' Pilot in BattleTech/MechWarrior lore, by their custom Hero Pattern, or by a combination of those two components.

As it stands Grinner shouldnt exist or the Pilot needs to be relabeled as FRR Merc(Kell Hounds) and name changed to Phelan Kell.

'His 'Mech destroyed, and heavily wounded, he was believed dead by those in the Inner Sphere.' 'After testing out as a warrior, this 'Mech was rebuilt and upgraded to a custom Wolfhound IIC,'-Sarna

the Crab hero does indeed look a bit like I could imagine a dememted Kermit looking, but I love the fact that it is painted as it was in the concept art for the KCG, there was a timelapse of that concept being drawn somewhere.

Zeus Hero Mech was the only possible thing to return me into MWO, alas I'm immensely disappointed in ZEU-SK hardpoints. Such a lack of imagination and quickie.

Take five for Bishop's Urbie - it's a good one, ECM Wolfie is okay, lore-bound Panther is 'nice try', and it's double facepalm for the rest of that fan-milking trash. You wasn't even able to choose proper surname of one poster-boy Phellan to boost your sales. Quickie is the middle name of all PGI employees, I reckon.

P.S. Just noticed that you shunned Liao affiliated Mechs for some reason. Even the Urban Mech is miraculously unaffiliated, blah. Another #notmy<insertyoursuperstition> infantile story or you've prepared something special for liaoists?

A Crab with ballistic points? That'd be cool if you guys hadn't upsized it.

Do the lights on the Urbanmech work!?

Notice the Crab also has side torso mounted weapons.

2x PPCs, SRM4, SRM6, XL300, 14DHS. Here I come.

Yes, this is like what you did back in September with the Clan Wave I heroes, quiaff?

Pgi: No new mechs.

Players: Mechs!

Pgi: New mech variants, no new mech pack.

as I recall we should see a new mech pack in March (2 IS mechs, 2 Clan mechs, at least 1 of each will have advance-timeline-tech), and more Clan heroes announced in April (this from MechCon).
