Shame about the ENF, its a direct downgrade to the 4R. I can't see what the GHILLIE brings to the table. It doesn't have to do "better" or be OP, but its should do something unique. Shame, I really liked the ENF chassis when I was leveling them...

MASC on a Zeus? Now that is interesting, gotta compute a few builds, but as stated before, missile convergence will be an issue... Now, if they did a Zeus X with destructible heat fins granting a heat gen quirk that falls off if you take too much rear damage...

Couple more thoughts:
-PGI's model of the Wolfhound is going to have a lot of trouble capturing the "grinning" head that Phelan's mech is famous for. The ears from the special geometry variant would have helped, if people were willing to let them use it
-Zach Hawkins' Mauler is painted totally wrong for the cartoon show. I guess this could've been the one he used in the War of 3039 (yes, I know my cartoon lore very well), but then it doesn't match Ryder's Bushwacker which WAS recently released with cartoon accurate colours.

Nah the Black Knight is unique, but terrible. 2 Missile hardpoints.. in the arm? Compare to WHM-7S and its a huge down grade.
The ENF is barely even unique.
The King Crab is unique, but I think the hardpoint layout is awful, easily the WORST King Crab variant.

The rest are mediocre. The Zeus actually MIGHT be the best Zeus, which isn't exactly great, but the rest.. nah.

Potential for the ballistic points in the torso to be up high in the laser spot for the King Crab?
The missiles on the BLK make me think of the Executioner, but is a bit refreshing from the all laser builds. Same for the Crab and Grasshopper getting some ballistics.
MASC on the Zeus is nice, now the Zeus really is loose.
Enforcer looks like a slight variation on the ENF-5D.... very slight.

Not amazing perhaps, but also not subject to power creep.
It may be more interesting to consider what these option might allow with an advance in the tech, which we will hopefully hear about soon.

They could have also dropped the amount of Energy hardpoints and given it ECM or MASC or ONE ballistic.. any of those would have been preferred, but not even necessarily P2W/power creep as long as they were accompanied by an appropriate trade off (less quirks, less energy hardpoints, etc).

You're right. I can't meta-ize them and make them just like every other copy/paste mech build out there. Totally worthless.

The Black Knight picture shows a laser hard point on its head.
The mech description says NILL. No hard point on the head.

Shame the Enforcer doesn't have something new to bring slot wise. I may have picked it up. Not sure if I will be picking any of these up. The lights seem interesting. Hopefully the mech packs that are supposed to show off new tech will be more interesting. Really hoping for the Argus. Seems to be a good choice to show off the RAC5.

Regarding the Urbie "K9" hero:

Please, PGI, PLEASE say it will be part of the mech AND let us activate the lightbar with the "flaps open / action" key!!! PLEASE?!?! I know it may be too much to ask, but could it activate a police siren as well? Just PLEASE confirm it will be on the mech and working - we will THROW our money at you! Posted Image

As the page indicates - Artwork does not reflect final loadouts

Clan Wave 1 heroes were the same, new hero patterns on existing variants while they worked on the actual hardpoints.

The Grasshopper? Great another 2 PPC 1 Gauss Rifle mech. God forbid anybody use any other weapons system. Oh well at least they'd be running an IS XL.
