I dunno, ac40 PLUS 6 energy hardpoints PLUS 2 missile? That might be a little crazy...

I think I'd be happy with a 2 lb10x + 6mpl + 2srm6 (w/A?) build as long as the ballistic mounts are high like the energy mounts on other kgc... seeing as that would be my range weapon...

As has been said, other King Crabs can mount twin AC 20's. That's how I run my King Crab champion. Note, once you put on the two AC 20's and their ammo, you really don't have room or weight for much else. I highly doubt you could fill up those other slots, even if you used all light lasers and SRM2's. There are drawbacks to this build. Still, it is fun, and I would jump at the chance to own a hero (or special) King Crab that can do it.

Because of the Black Knight Hero Mech: I am very disappointed now. Two missile hardpoints were really interesting for me but only one ballistic hardpoint and only one missile hardpoint? Really? *sighs*

I really like this pack but I'm still pissed off over the Supply Cache rip off scheme so I'm going to say NO Thanks.

Long time lurker, first time poster.

My thoughts on the hero Urbie - lights (and sirens?) go on whenever the pilot of said hero procs a Protected Light.

I know a lot of people were saying lights on a kill, but to me it just seems more correct that the lights go on NOT as a show of victory, but of duress. So either when Protected Light procs, or possibly ky when the urbie itself takes damage.

Please remove the lower arm actuators from the Crab. I would love to run an AC/20 on this thing.

First, let me confirm that the lights on the UrbanMech hero will function! Though we are currently deciding on exactly how they will trigger.

Thanks for making the Changes to Phelan Kells Grinner. Tho It wouldve been cool to have a Grinner IIc

Let me add a vote for manual control of the UM lightbar. My preferred method would be the launcher bay door key. It would make it just like what has already been done for retracting/extending Kodiak claws, which are also pretty much purely cosmetic.

The UrbanMech needs to be part if the St. Ives Military Command and have missiles and not a autocannon.

I never thought I'd be this guy, but booo to all these heretical, canon-unfriendly loadouts. Why not just go all the way and make everything an omnimech for no reason if you're gonna toss the rulebook out like that.

They are custom one off mechs and they are all over lore.

I get that most of them are canon and that the ones that aren't have to be changed because the game doesn't support the canon tech and loadouts...but that doesn't mean I have to like the compromise.

Just read about the ECM on enforcer... sold. I love the enforcer. But the part about it having ER small and medium lasers and not able, etc... yeah right. In a month or so, ER small and medium lasers will be in this game. So I imagine they will switch it back to something like that OR we get the option to do so.

While I can understand having to change the loadout of the left arm for the Black Knight hero due to no hatchet or TSM in the game currently, you could have easily left it as having 2 missile hard points, and just added the ballistic hard point or two. A single SRM/LRM seems to be a bit of a waste and would only be viable to use on a larger LRM launcher, but not with SRMs. If brawling the only real option would be using the ballistic only rather than 1 SRM. For me, I'd probably opt for the ballistic over any missile regardless, but would probably put a damper on any brawlers that like to use SRMs and LRMers would most likely use a different mech that can carry more than 1 of them.

PLZ REVISIT THE EARLY ORDER PRICING

PGI, I'm glad you listened to the community and made some changes to the mechs on offer. I would also point out the following: your $$ pricing model by weight-class is out-dated. The community is now used to new mechs being offered at $20 for the bundle + $15 for the hero mech. (And some other special mechs/bundle prices)

A lot of us bought the Resistance Packs and charging $25 for the Assault mechs (e.g. $75 if you want all 3) is pretty steep. Likewise the Urbie, who everyone loves and will be a big seller, is really priced too cheap at $10. You could easily get $15.

Assuming the investment in design time/$$ for PGI is pretty much the same regardless of weight class/size you need to assume greater number of mechs sold early equals more profit and less risk. Some ideas:

Option 1: make all the pre-order Hero Mechs $15. They will sell like hot-cakes and the Urbie will get you more for being special.

Option 2: Lights & Mediums $15, Heavies & Assaults $20

Option 3: $5 Discounts for Resistance and Urbie Packages Owners -- reward us for our loyalty!

Option 4: Resistance Hero Packages! $100 for all of them and/or $50 lets you choose 1 from each weight class etc. Use some creativity.

Bottom line, you are trying to push the Hero mech pricing back up with this package and its always tougher to do that with your customers. $15 gets me a Clan Hero Marauder IIC or Kodiak Hero, two of the best mechs in the game. Why should I want an IS Medium for the same price?

Hero pricing is a different beast, besides, seeing how Misery, Malinche, Boar's Head, and most other assualt heroes cost *more* than the Kaiju, it appears there is already comparative value here... value being subjective b/c remember, they try pretty hard to keep this game f2p and not p2w.

Please, let there be missile urbie! If I remember right, Draconis Combine fielded a MRM-30 urbanmech, I think UM-73 or UM-80? Please oh our glorious dev overlords. Even one missile slot in exchange for ballistic or energy slots. The K-9 Urbanmech, while cool looking, brings nothing new to the table except for vanity lights and one pretty irrelevant energy slot.

I would love and play the heck out of missile urbie. It sounds like an immensely fun mech, which Urbanmech already is, so why not add more? It's even lore-friendly.

So, since I have won over 500 MC, 3 XL engines, 4 modules, and several million Cbills (combined Cbills and equipment to sell) in Supply caches, that means I am obliged to buy a resistance hero, right?

Yes! Didn't you read that microscopic fine print on the side of each supply cache?

Alright, sounds good.

First, though...

Where are the pre-ordered bonuses? Ya know, the reason why we are preordering instead of waiting until release?
