i was looking through the polls list and i am really surprised since the firemoth came out (the fastest clan light mech) that the Fireball (the fastest IS light mech) is NOT on the list...

Probably because it's even more boring than the Firemoth and also a waste of tonnage on any of the existing maps. It's even more useless given the fact that this game isn't played with split lances but in giant murderballs most of the time.

I dunno, it might be interesting as the "non-JJ alternative to the Spider-5V that only has 2 medium lasers/1LXPL" alternative.
Then again the LCT-3V does fill that role somewhat already, hmm.

This is absolutely a glup shitto tier suggestion, but maybe the Rakshasa? One of my most favorite Inner Sphere 'mechs. I'm not sure where else to suggest this.

According to PGI, the Griffin IIC will never happen because it will be too similar to the Arctic Wolf in terms of gameplay.

The Wolverine IIC Conjurer (Hellhound) would be interesting to see. The Conjurer 4 is an absolute beast and the 8 variant has mix tech with an IS RAC/5, along with MASC.

Phoenix Hawk IIC would be a Clan Charger. But the Standard, 2 and 3 do have unique hardpoints in the torso and all variants are jumpers across the board. That would be interesting to see in MWO.

BattleMaster IIC doesn't exist outside of MechWarrior 2, so the only two variants close to that we will get is either the BattleMaster C or BattleMaster Red Corsair.

Though, I'm sad that we will never get to see the Locust IIC, because it plays similar to the Piranha, but with a slower speed and less weapons.

I would love to add more mechs with partial wings like the Eyrie a 35 ton battlemech, or the Jade Phoenix and Hierofalcon would be good additions and the two are plenty similar to each other just have to replace the two improved heavy lasers with regular heavy lasers and it should be good.

Plus give the Clans there own partial wing mechs.

I could see the Shadow Cat and Cougar and Black Lanner being good candidates for Partial Wing Clan Mechs. It could make for some interesting builds. Imagine something like 4xUACs, 2x HAG 20s or dual Beam Laser Partials. That would be so much fun.

Incubus II is a partial wing mech could just turn the normal incubus into a partial wing legendary, with a modular arm mounted weapons.

Edit: Also quirk the cmpl to have ermpl range to further emulate the incubus II

Thinking about the Shadow Hawk IIC, it's amusing to see how much of the VMI unseens (with the exception of the Jenner IIC) we have so far. I mean we have:

Stone Rhino
Warhammer IIC
Marauder IIC
Rifleman IIC
Incubus
Kraken
Vapor Eagle

Perseus, Avatar, Arctic Fox,Blackjack-O, Sunder be solid list for early inner sphere omni and since withg existence of the Noble it be quiet nice to add the Romero Config, with clan mix tech for spefic weapons locked or only allow clan weapons for the specific hardpoint.

I suggest checking sarna for a potential mech you looking for but lights are not popular with the majority of the playerbase that generally plays assaults.

Not counting the Kit-Fox and Cougar since they're slow, not even the Mist Lynx because it's not that fast, but you already have the Firemoth, Arctic Cheetah and Wolfhound that can mount ECM.

since mechs with one off weapons are a thing now, can we get the arbiter? metal af but only carries a heavy rifle. could work as a 2fer legend, with a base variant with a fixed rifle and an alternate with a heavily quirked ac/5.

yes, its supposed to suck. it doesn't even have a fusion engine (a 175 fuel cell), has 1 heat sink, and uses industrial armor.
