Why dont we have Mektek's Ares as an option for clan heavy? It looks nice and it is 60 tonner and we have only Mad Dog in that bracket.

What new poll? There is only one big poll and PGI seems to be roughly following each class by popularity in that poll for better or worse.

Non-canonical, it would be a rights nightmare to license the design, especially since my memory is that the work on the Ares was split between both verybad and Jehosephat2k and the latter became a bit of a tyrant. You might be able to get away with the Deimos as that exists within a TRO, but I'm not sure if you'd have to do additional licensing for it. No idea who would own the original rights, anyway, if memory serves I think Zakua is no longer with us.

Dang it..I knew I should've read Sarna.net prior to voting. After looking up the Hatamoto-chi I think that mech should be the next IS Assault. As for the Owens and Hollander for IS lights...ehhhhh...no.

As I've been researching mechs I've come to belive the Longbow has substantial potential in game.

the Lbow has variants that are as fast as a Bmaster, some variants are actually more energy based, a JJ variant or two and an ecm variant as well so it wouldn't just be a Stalker with a different shape. It actually has tons of flavour and could rival the Bmaster for strength in game.

So far these are the Top 3 Clan Mechs. So I assume that these will be the dates the mechpacks will come and when the actual mechs will ship out. I could be wrong thought.
