The most sexiest mech alive, I need it for my ego plus proper clan duelist mech.

Same here, even I have a saying "No Hatamoto, no cash."

I'm not liking that torso... looks like a jenner 2c knock off... rather it be closer to original art.. the smooth/bubble body is just fine.

Better than I could draw myself though. Art is not my strongest trait.

Whoever made the Stone Rhino art is pretty good in my opinion, I just wished the news was real.

I got to agree whomever did that did an excellent job. For a second there I was like, "Did I miss the announcement" and went back to look to see if it indeed was the next mech pack.

Thank god its not though case that torso is ugly as hell. Honestly I don't think I would even consider buying it if it really looked like that.

Ah the Dragonwang, it unique enough in design. And would be a nice mech in the game's lineup, but the real question will they keep the wang where it is?

Lights
Mercury
Thorn

Mediums
Clint
Sentinel

Heavies
Lancelot
Flashman
Guillotine

Assaults
Thug

I'd be OK with any of these, either for performance reasons, adding something new, or just "I think I can make that work."

But since the Vulcan came out, it's possible that we will have a clan medium next month.

So that narrows it down to these choices:
Mongrel (Grendel)
Pouncer
Crimson Langur
Vapor Eagle (Goshawk)

Any of these, please. Bonus points for there being one for each weight category Posted Image

Well got time to finish what I was working on over a week ago. So lets cover the medium list.

For the 55 tonners we have:
Rabid Coyote
Vapor Eagle

Definitely my 2 top choices for the next Clan Medium. The Vapor Eagle edges out ahead for me, just to have a 55 ton Clan BattleMech.

For the 50 ton Mechs we have:
Crimson Langur

This is my #3 pick, partly because it looks really menacing, partly because of those torso mounts and party because it's a speedy energy boat.

As for the Conjurer / Hellhound dilemma? I still say PGI should give it the Nova/Blackhawk & Mist Lynx/Koshi treatment. Make the Conjurer the Wolverine Not-Named IIC that is it supposed to be. Make the Hellhound an OmniMech with the IS name for the Conjurer, but re-designed to remove the taint of Clan Wolverine Not-Named.

For Clan 45 tonners:
Great Wyrm
Mongrel (Grendel)
Pinion
Stag

So many solid choices in the 45 ton bracket. Just no more IICs please Posted Image

I almost want the Stag just for the ST-24G "Stag II" for what sounds like an instance of the EERPPC. Almost.

For 40 tonners:
Battle Cobra
Lobo
Pouncer

Battle Cobra could allow for the first joint Clan & IS pack, with the bonus of introducing IS OmniMechs.

Lobo is an ugly duckling, but it all the best ways. Do want.

Pouncer adds another Adder/Cougar to my roster. Which reminds me, I should play the Cougar at some point...

I have no issues with them making the Conjurer the IIC of an ugly, ugly mech, so long as the MW4 Hellhound is an actual separate mech. That sounds fair to me, and PGI gets to sell two mech packs.

That is mostly what I suggested a long time ago. Just use the Mechwarrior 4 lore for the Hellhound and rechristen the design as the Hellhound two.

Conjurer:

Hellhound II

Simple.

Well to sum up my Prior posts on Clan Medium and Lights. If you want more of an explanation on the mechs refer to my prior posts covering these mechs lights are on page 94, mediums are on page 95. Also those posts cover all the mechs in weight class, yea there is that few for the clan.

55 Tonners: Top Picks

Vapor Eagle a great option if they want to prep for clan DLC for Battletech and MW5 as well as a good mech for MMO
Rabid Coyote a good option if they want to put in a clan mech for the Civil War era but will new PGI invented variants

50 Tonners: Top Picks

Conjurer a highly likely pick for MWO as it would also be great for any clan DLC for BT and MW5.
Hellhound (MW4 version) would be a great pick for MWO for Civil War era.
Crimson Langur another great Civil War Era mech if the PGI will not split the Hellhound redesign from the original Conjurer.

45 Tonners: Top Picks

Shadow Hawk IIC a likely pick for MWO as the Shadow Hawk is in game; and Battletech and MW5 clan DLC will need solid invasion era mechs.

Mongrel would also make another good pick for all three games but will be a mech to appear later in the DLCs.

40 Tonners: Top Picks

Battle Cobra all around good pick for all three games.
Pouncer another all around good pick for all three games.

35 Tonners: Top Picks

Spirit a good Civil War era mech, but needs new versions.
Wolfhound IIC while the original is a Clan Conversion of the IS Wolfhound. With clan wolf splitting in the Civil War era the wolves in exile being light on mechs could very well could have retooled a Wolfhound production line on Arch Royal to build clan grade wolfhounds.

30 Tonners: Top Picks

Hellion would be a prime pick due to it being a late invasion era mech, Early civil war era mech.
Urban IIC would be a great mech for all three as long as they give decent builds to it. (Pretty much copy and paste IS versions but with clan tech)
Pack Hunter would be a great Civil War era mech for those looking for ERPPC poptart snipers.

25 Tonners: Top Picks

Bear Cub a late Civil War era battlemech for the clans.
Commando IIC a Clan Invasion era battlemech.
Locust IIC a Clan Invasion era battlemech.

20 Tonners: Top Picks
PGI needs to invent new ones!

I would replace the Hellion with the incubus, since it's a 30 ton battlemech that can do what the Hellion does but faster, and better. Plus no locked equipment, is a plus.

The Coyolt is also a strong 40 tonner in choice and the Griffin IIC is also another strong choice.

Incubus would draw the ire of HG, even with a redesign that attempt to keep its good aesthetics. (Also look on page 95 for my more detailed covering of the mediums) I was limiting this to 2 but a couple went to 3 on a couple due to the split and was just to hard to declare as a better option.

HG would go after the Conjurer, Shadhawk IIC,Vapor Eagle as they all fall under the unseen list. I think I need a detail at the list on my free time to judge some of your descions.

The Shadow Hawk and Shadow Hawk IIC are from Fang of the Sun: Dougram something HG never had the rights to as it was never licensed outside of Japan, except for Diecast Models for Playmates, which is a long dead company.

Conjurer (Wolverine IIC) is base on the Wolverine which is also from Fang of the Sun: Dougram.

Vapor Eagle is the only unseen that has no listed origin I could find. It is not listed with any of the HG unseens, it very well might be part of the Victor Musical Industries, Inc section but not listed.

Incubus has been removed, not that it changes the Clan Light Race or anything.

Well I pulled the Incubus from my massive mech list now that it has been confirmed. Looks good as well, and different then the original. However I got a feeling HG may still lose their mind over the "Gun" mounted arm like they did with the Phoenix Hawk and its "Gun" mounted arm.

Next mech would likely be IS but not looking at weight as PGI could select anything on that.
