we all know PGI hates that clans that's why it takes so long for them to make some hero mechs for them. still want to see some clan mastery packs in the store but seeing how PGI hates clans its going to maybe be in the game in 10 years

Well, i'd call it "Grid Iron IIC", but i had a story for it.
Your thoughts? Would you like a Grid-Iron-ish hero again?

Hunchback IIC is basically a suicide machine for warriors who lived past their prime, and want one last shot at glory.
HBK-IIC Hero should be for a Solahma who keeps surviving those missions, to his and his superiors growing frustration.

To that point why not just make the Hunch IIC hero a paper clip and see how they make that **** work.

I guess you meant the OP, but yeah it surely will be like in that order. Otherwise it wont make any sense.
@The6thMessenger
How do you manage to make up in-game models and smurfys of loadouts/variants/configs that arent in the game yet? It just baffles me

Call it "Deathwish"- in keeping with the Grid Iron's wonky loadout, let's give it a little bit of everything, but cranked up to 11 as is only appropriate for a HBK-IIC:
Head: empty
LT: C-Gauss, 1t Gauss ammo, Heavy Large Laser
CT: C-XL 225, 1xDHS
RT: 2xC-SSRM6 + 1t Streak SRM ammo, Heavy Large Laser, 1t MG ammo
LA: MG
RA: MG
LL: 2xJJ
RL: 2xJJ
Armor: 192 points standard.
*edit* Or... maybe swap the SSRMs for regular SRMs and stuff a couple more sinks in there, because it's hot as hell on a sunny day in summer? I kinda like the idea of it being almost totally unworkable, though. The config is so batshit that only a total basket case would ever drive it, but that's kinda the idea. It's a one-shot wonder, way over the line into troll build territory.
Over the years, the 'Mech has been blown apart and put back together multiple times, and consequently has almost none of its original equipment remaining. Instead, "Deathwish" has a hodge-podge array of different weapon systems cobbled together from the wreckage of multiple destroyed opponents... more than once, its pilot has been challenged by younger warriors in far more powerful 'Mechs, but has come through each and every Trial as the unquestioned victor. The nonstandard appearance of the machine, and its aging pilot's stubborn refusal to meet his end, have become a source of embarrassment and frustration to his Clan... but both man and machine have gained a fearsome reputation among those few enemies who have survived meeting them in combat.

UAC5 and ERLL are too DPS.

Yeah, I started with UAC20s but couldn't make it hot enough, plus it looked too similar to the regular HBK-IIC.
Heavy Medium Lasers are still 1 ton, right? They could work. Maybe add some ATMs? If I was more inclined I'd check Sarna, but I'm not so I shan't.

ATMs are new, fancy and expensive. I don't think the would give them to solahma, whereas they specifically tested heavy lasers with second line warriors.
I'd go with 2x H-LL (1 per torso)
And 4x SRM4/6, two tracks on each arm.
Hot, heavy alpha focus, but fitting for a solahma. In fact I'll dummy one up when I get home later

Endo
250xl salvaged of a destroyed Nova
4x JJ
14 DHS
7 tons Ferro armor
-H: 9
-CT: 20/6
-LT/RT: 15/5
-LA/RA: 15
-LL/RL: 15
No hand actuators (expensive and require lots of maintenance)
1x H-LL (LT)
1x H-LL (RT)
2x aSRM6 (LA)
2x aSRM Ammo (LA)
2x aSRM6 (RA)
2x aSRM Ammo (RA)
This HBK-IIC started life as an Alpha, but has been nearly destroyed and rebuilt multiple times. Since his Galaxy Commander refuses to waste spare parts on a worthless solahma, he has had to come out together with battlefield salvage. The engine and it's forearms formerly belonged to the Nova is a true born warrior who sought to make an example of this "old and worthless waste of genes".
The engine has cracked sitting and generates extra heat, and he regularly has to fight duels just to keep ammo in his SRMs, but he refuses to die easily, and intends to frustrate his commanders until he finally earns his release in glorious battle.

Think I should whip up some art for that build?
