I thought would be cool if ingame HL while being fired gave same effect on mech similar to being affected by enemy ecm (minimap flicks, locks resets etc., if ecm is present on mech - it disables ecm cover while HL firing).
This way not only it adds depth to gameplay, but also provide great balance drawback, thanks to which actual weapon performance(heat, damage, duration, etc.) can be made decent.
