5k per match score would be about on part with what we have now. Might need to make it diminishing returns like 5k per 100 3.5k to 200 after 200 2.5k so it isn't huge past what the current numbers are. Otherwise you would have some people nearly breaking 1 million per qp.

Seems to be ~3 missiles per Match Score

45 Match Score on a Loss
120 missiles shot down
34/120=0.28

70 Match Score win
148 missiles shot down
50/148=0.33

If it keeps the economy stable instead of what we've had, I'm all for it.

Seems to be conflicting information here. Which is it?

I only played a few games in January but I saw T5s and T-1s in the same game then. I saw the post from Tina that said they had loosened the MM but were tightening it back up. The matches I was in where they were mixed up was after that was posted. Admittedly, it was just a couple games but it was still happening then.

I'll also be investigating the AMS bug, as well as how high you can farm a AMS match score, tonight

The Nova shares the lost ST=Mega AMS bug, but it can have 3 (or, 2 Super AMS)
So, I'll pack as much ammo as I can, and get some LRM boats lined up.
cLRM boats, preferably...



Though, completely worthless in a Live match, the Science! must be done

There is no conflict. McGral saw T1 players in his T4 account, which means the MM was already loosened after several minutes of waiting when he queued.

I saw players that were definitely Tier 5 when I was Tier 2, and I think I'm still seeing them now that I'm Tier 1.

Eg, players with sub-100 average Match Score with many hundreds or even thousands of battles played. There is just no way for them to not be Tier 5.

I see T1s when I'm a T4 when only waiting less than 30 seconds.

I don't think that something as easy as equipping something in the mechlab should provide as massive a boost to match score that it now does.

Rewards should be more focused on accuracy, damage output, positioning, and important stuff like locking on to a target to share information (maybe then potatoes might actually hit R) and shooting down UAVs. And sometimes playing the game mode's minigames that don't involve shooting stompy robots, preferably tied in with the size of the map and dynamic of the game (behind on caps, lights should get something for turning that around, at least)

I'd say it's a bit consistent with the score i got beforehand. 500 damage with 600 missile downed, vs a 900 damage with the same 600 match-score.

Your wait time and lobby wait time (when the match was first created) are different. That's why.

Its worth nothing that the valving is per player. Just because you drop in a second dont mean someone hasnt been waiting long enough to be 4 tier away from you.

LOL ye I'm not surprised. One of our guys brought a 10,000 round KFX to Boreal/Attack against what was basically 12 IS LRM Boats. All the modules etc. Cause, PUGs just LRM.

He burnt through ALL of it in under 5mins. If only PGI gave you the cbill reward - I bet it would've been, high.

But ye that is broken for 6,000 missile destroyed AND being dead.

The broken AMS bug isn't exclusive to the BM
Nor does it have 30% AMS RoF...
It's pretty ridiculous

Battlemaster was the original mech the issue was found on, the 2c I believe.
