Thinking of all those not so lucky. It would have been better to have 2 solo kills in one match as requirement. 1 against a Roughneck and 1 other mech of any kind.
This was like a lottery, only you didn't even get a ticket every time.

edit: the special luck hard one (battery kill) for 2 warhorns is fine..

incursion thoughts:
- only have 2 fuel cell areas. get rid of the middle one.
- make the fuel cell energy signature visible by everyone. (whoever holds it, is visible on radar like other CTF games)
- super turret in each base that can 1 hit kill mechs. needs to be killed by the first called (ACT) dropship (gives air control tower a purpose - storming enemy base would require at least one fuel cell in ACT)

"Failed delivery" should have been rethought, either it needed to be "Get a Kill or KMDD on an enemy carrying a fuel cell" so that at least there would be the possibility of two people reaching the goal with every fuel cell carrier; or it should have been replaced by "Fully Charged - Get a Kill or KMDD while carrying a fuel cell".
Between the two options, the latter would have been better.
All of that having been said, I am LOVING Incursion, so far it's the ONLY MODE where you can do 0 damage to an enemy and still get huge payouts in both C-Bills and Experience. I had a match where I marched across Tourmaline Desert in an Awesome 8Q, hit a Spider with a single shot from a PPC(Didn't shoot another mech again), destroyed all but one base component and ended the match with 317,070 C-Bills and 8,416mxp(these totals do include Premium Time and 1st Victory).
Edit: Forgot to include my other serious complaint with the event. When it is too difficult to get into the specific game mode required to complete the event it can be extremely frustrating. This was also the case with the latest loot bag event requiring Siege. I got 156/175 loot bags and had 0 opportunity to get into Siege matches for the final 4 days of the event.

In the last 24 hours of the event I played 11 hours including the last 5 hours straight of it - and not once was offered the Incursion mode, let alone had the chance for it to be voted for or against ... NOT ONE INCURSION MODE IN ELEVEN HOURS!!!
Seriously PGI - WTF???
As to your CM posting that you could not affect the likelihood of game mode in your code - I suggest you make that a priority fix if you're going to run events like this in future.
Another factor (which everyone in my unit kept nagging me about) is that right now I only have IS mechs and was due to start my Clan collections after the end of the month. Although I got lucky a few hours from the end of the event and finally got the Roughneck kill, I have been chasing the last light/medium kill and the last heavy/assault kill for 2 days - everyone in my unit has been telling me it's because IS mechs are so underperforming compared to Clan mechs, and I must admit I've seen precious few IS mechs all weekend other than Locusts and the single Bushwacker that gave me my Delivery Failed kill.
Before rolling the new skill trees, and before releasing the stats for the new Civil War equipment - please factor that into the post-release stats from those two features.

That cell kill was a bugger. Tough the way we were playing. Im sure your own play test was more strategic. Ours turned into 'Whos got the ball!' and then no one wanted the ball.
