Overloaded with Active Premium Time here... will have to miss the stream whether I want to or not. :(

Sooooooooooooooooo wish I could have got some Supply Keys or Extra (MC) on the last Event, instead of this Active Premium Time. They would have been more "does not tie you to your seat" kind of useful, and then I wouldn't be having Real Life Issues right now. -_-

The rigging isn't done for any of these models, so the exact arm/leg/knee angles etc. may change when they are finished. Hoping the chicken mechs are squatting lower to the ground, like I always do.

Anyway the Mad Cat MkII looks savage once you take those missile pods off. Uziel and Cougar just need a few minor tweaks IMO (Uziel some beefier legs, Cougar slide the torso forward a bit on those legs), but the Anni just isn't my style.

Looks like the new weapon geometry will be very nice as well, hope the old mechs get a retrofit before too long...

Gauss rifles stick too far out on the Mad Cat Mark II.

Cougar looks very nice. Seems a little stretched vertically compared to the concept art, but imo that makes it look more like the original Cougar and I heartily approve of that. I really love the round laser barrels also. Give those to the Raven please as well please! Posted Image

Uziel looks AMAZING. Easily the best of the bunch to me.


Annihilator looks a little funny but overall I like it, but angle makes it a little difficult to judge. The lower arms maybe are a little long, but again, the angle makes it tricky to tell for sure. Will be interesting to fight it ingame though.


MK-II overall looks great, but the design is so nostalgic for me that I can't help but nitpick the model some.. Posted Image
Why give the MK-II such a high torso ballistic?
Do we really need MORE of that? It's already got near-cockpit-level arm weapons anyway.
I kinda wish the Gauss rifle barrels in the arms were shorter like in the concept art, but that's pretty minor. If you guys could make the Shadow Cat's Gauss rifle longer while shortening the MK-II's, that'd be fabulous... just saying.
The nose shape is a slightly funny angle compared to the concept art imo, but it could be worse (like the Dire Wolf).
But otherwise it looks great!


Overall I'm really excited for this update! I haven't gotten to listen to the stream itself yet, but thank you PGI for giving us these sneakpeaks!

Asked about 11 slot weapons and how they were going to deal with them. Was said they answered it, but I was there for the entire stream and they DID NOT answer that question. Now they might have else where, but I haven't seen it yet.

This is exactly the question I want to see answered and the reason I listened to the whole 1 hour of video for...

Whether or not we can use LB-20X ACs and Heavy Gauss Rifles with Light Fusion Engines is kind of a big deal.

They probably couldn't answer that anyways. They weren't going too deep into weapon particulars.
