the amount of salt here is enough to make make mountains in the sahara desert and let it rain for 20 years.

it's a step forward, a good step forward imo when it comes to personalization of mechs, meaningful skills and finally getting rid of those stupid modules. yes there are flaws, and hopefully they will address them soon.

please stop hindering the progress of this game which is as much mine as it is yours. and if you insist, just consider it an update in an MMORPG where suddenly 5 level higher end game gear is released and you have to grind again.

online games in order to stay alive, need to be alive and move forward.

Got my civil war pack and hero Mech refunded tried for premium time but no go there ask they may take your kodis and give back$

Looks like PGI is confusing this game with a kind of RPG, or trying to mix. And in the way they are pissing most of us.
Please, roll back this crap. Bring us back our pew-pew mech simulator and focus in important things like brand new maps, mechs and weapons.

I do not play other games. I do not play WoW, Warframe, Titanfall, Fallout or anything else. I play MWO because I love BattleTech. I write for BattleTech, I play with my 1100+ miniatures every weekend. The game was already barely BattleTech as I _hate_ mech customization. Now, it's so far from BT that I simply don't wanna play and think they should rename their war machines to names not used in the BT verse.

I think the patch is great. Getting to personalize your mech even further is value added to me. Once you learn the skill tree it should only take a minute or two per mech.

Oh comon Deacon...... the game is worse.... the longer you are on the game the slower it operates..... this is a major problem and its ****** me off to the point where I can no longer care for this.

HSR was bad before... now its horrendous

agility was fine before.... now its horrendous

time spent in lab was fine before.... now its horrendous

This game is a game worthy to compete with MW4... and... MW4 won. At least MS knows how to code properly and allow user made maps by mektek and other 3rd parties.... something PGI refuses to allow.

I don't have any FPS issues and I'm not even running both my GPU's at the moment. No problems with HSR on my end either bro.

If there is anything that is going to stop the progress of the game, it's this. This is so convoluted and you've killed the mechs that I loved, the reason I continued to play this game.

Firepower > survivability > operations > misc > sensors > crap ..... meta

Edit: you should put at least 1 point in misc, no matter what.

I want be propositive, not all is lost, simply I ask to replace this skill tree with a new skill tree linear, where you can choose only node useful for you. I mean linear tree for specific weapon, for cooldown or range or damage etc.

Nothing is stopping you from playing in the Stock events hosted in the private lobbies (feel free to look them up, still going AFIK but been a bit since I peeked at them), or MW:LL. The latter has no customization, stock and more stock, and could generally use more players given its ridiculously tiny userbase.

While not in agreement on some things you're taking issue with...


...There is a -nasty- memory leak going on with the Ledger/Skill tree UI.

Reminds me of the problem with the floating chat box on release, which seemed fixed, but now I can chime in and say... the longer you have the skill trees open, the more the game bogs down in the mechlab, like, insanely badly. Leave it go long enough, and it gets horrendous. If you're running 16 Gigs+, probably won't notice it for a good long while. If you're running 8? It will get outright choppy. You need to restart the client or it just gets progressively worse.

I was hoping the hotfix would address it but, I have a feeling it didn't. Might be worth sending in a support ticket, as it's going to **** over everyone eventually.

guys guys plz - we all can agree that if PGI will make this tree in normal way and give the weapon specialization nodes - also remove this stupid rule - that you cant have what you want with out the **** around - this tree can be good - its a step forward guys anyway,

So all we need is to make them remake the tree with our needs - all is here in this post! plz who can show it to pgi
collect the ideas and send them....or give it to those who can send.....PLZ

gave it a chance and i think i could like it with a few more tweaks. seriously, you can build unbelieavable over the top brawler with all that stuff, TTK is finaly significant lower and the horrible laser meta has gone.


I dunno but I played with my EBJ... It runs basically as cool as before and has more range. cLPL with 707m optimal with -10% duration?

IMO, laser meta is worse than it was before. FAR worse.

I've done 10.

It's taken me about 8hrs between testing ground/skill tree - rinse and repeat that about 10-15 times to tweak a mech to where you want it. Then private lobbies to test it out with friends.

I'm over it.

I'm all for Skill Tree - just not this horrific implementation of it.
