54 is after speed tweak, if you max it out. 48 is what all of the 3/5 mechs hit in MWO without it.

Arnold if I were you, I'd change this thread's name to "Behold! The Rifleman IIC is Here!" or "Success! I finally got the Rifleman IIC!" or something along those lines. Of course, that's just me.

Its gonna be DOA on all but 2 versions. On all but 2 its max engine is a 235!? 58kph max on all but the 2 that have a 315. Thats too slow for a 65 mech. Its not gonna have enough armor to survive being that slow.

I was kinda confused at first about the 48.6 kmph base speed, but after getting an explanation from Bishop it makes sense now. I'm surprised that they are adding extra hard points in the arms and such, with the addition of AMS but on a mech this slow even after XL engine upgrades it needs it. A good move from PGI imo.

Not only that, but I hope it will have some quirks to go along with it. Mainly speaking of the Garret D2J fire control in similar vein to the IS Rifleman, so most likely a range quirk increase and/or accuracy increase across all variations. Hoping we get some structural hardening quirks in the arms with maybe some cLPL cooling quirks in the IIC-1.

or in other words it was obvious that the Rifleman IIC is a slowly bugger it was known that most of his guns will be situated in the arms and as such it was also obviously that it will be HP starved. Plus you have a huge bullet magnet over the CT that everybody is able to shoot at before you are even able to shoot back.

A reasonable "wish" for the Rifleman IIC would have asked for the Galahad. Have fun with your DOA

It would have to have big torso armor quirks to compensate for that big thing.

Too bad PGI chose this Mech although there are obvious better ones.

Hope PGI learns when the preoders aren't what they expect.

Yeah, very unlikely it's going to get armour quirks, but it's not going to need them with those high mounts. Never underestimate the power of high mounts.
