Unless you want to be disappointed, expect the Annihilator to have no better than Dire level agility. Its a gun boat afterall. They aren't going to give it 6 ballistic hardpoints spread out across the mech and make it more agile than a Dire.

it wouldn't be entirely unfair considering the annihilator will have to run a smaller engine to fit 6 AC5s, a build the dire wolf can do quite comfortably with its XL 300. i still wouldn't expect it though given that every other 100 tonner handles like a planet.

Yes, it will be a huge, slow LRM sponge.

Its possible only saving grace. If anything being that it is supposed to be a mobile turret, good twist rate and yaw range to make up for its slow speed.

You can watch YouTube videos of it from the older MW games, it was huge and slow, but had tons of firepower and armor.

You're forgetting, we've got Light Engines, and Light Ferro now... Should be able to run 6 AC5 with a LFE300, and Endo.

I loved in MW4 running with 4 CUAC20's on my Annihilator :P Yeah, it was slow... but I could one-shot-kill anything in the game through the center torso...

Well 6 AC5s probably isn't the best build, probably better off with 5 UAC5s and I'm pretty sure you can do that with an LFE. Or 2 UAC10s and 2 UAC5s. Or 3 UAC10s or something with something else. I dunno, I'm sure it will be close to Dire level deadly.

Rasalhague and Steiner icons are mixed up with one another in the Uziel pattern presentation, Matt.

Any chance you can sneak those Anni quirks in on the sly today?

This blunder will cost PGI more than 1000 loyal Rasalhague and Steiner players.

Was the KDK the last mech they did the Lore story for?

Are there that many loyalists in any faction in MWO?

As much as I love Gauszilla, it uses Clan tech and PGI haven't started giving us alternate tech variants of the same mech.

Yeah... a bloody shame that.... Oh well, it'll be nice to fire more than 5 alphas before running out of ammo :P

4 AC/10's with the old Rifleman 3N quirks would be nuts!

yeah, i realized after posting that 6 AC5s should be doable with a LFE 300. no ultras though unless you drop the engine.

it may not be, but it's something to consider if we're comparing it to the dire wolf. the reduced shot count on IS autocannons should help close the gap, but the dire wolf will always have more tonnage to dump into weapons. like you said, it'll probably still be close, though i think the annihilator will be more awkward to use due to the distance between the weapons and cockpit.

Your Steiner and FRR patterns or logos are swapped incorrectly on both.
