Bolt-on Geo: Can I have the fins that make the Zeus X?

http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Zeus_X

8v8 vs 12v12 - with our current Match Maker 8v8 will probably be better than 12v12, But with a Match Maker that takes into account my individual skill with specific weight class / chassis / variant / weapons systems, make 12v12 better than 8v8.

New Maps - Hell ya! Couldn't come soon enough. While we are at it, can we remove Map Voting? Maps are content, and with certain maps never being picked, I now have less content to play with.

If they throw one in with missile hard points than I'm all for a vulcan. Rather have an MRM than just a bunch of lasers and ballistics.

Vulcan can be the IS machinegun monster, too. It's a nifty looking thing, that's for sure.

More maps, great, but after that long time not so great anymore,
but understandable, maps costs money (for pgi a maps costs insane 250.000$) and brings no money,
means we only get maps if the uprise gets too big and the sales go stagnant.

No ik, costs money, costs money for bigger servers but brings no money, not enough uprise.

In the end i would be glad if they would be able to bring at least a single patch without the need of a hotpatch ...
... lowered expectations for a minimal aviable product.

MWO has some unique selling points:
- Only game that needs a hotpatch for every patch
- Get worse graphics and effects over time but also reducing fps by doing that.

as cool as it would be, we probably won't see anything like this since it would be a pretty significant alteration to its geometry.

How come the "select where you drop" feature isn't on the road map anywhere ?

I'd rather get a Vulcan, if we're talking 'bout 40 tonners.

Curious - why that mech specifically?

I like how it looks.

That's BASICALLY the main reason why i like certain mechs more than others.

Looking forward to Solaris and bolt-ons.

Not to keen on the 8v8 quickplay.

When are we going to see airstrikes being nerfed? It's gotten bad to the point that it's become a meta to run these things. Has this not been noticed at all or what? The damn things take 15% of your health in one go and that's even with only 1 strike.

that's because you're being nailed by someone who spent points to buff it. also, there's an easy way to avoid that damage. it's called moving.

Like they can't be used to hit targets around structure (or in a long path beyond it). You can't literally dodge all airstrikes. Not to mention if you're sitting in a slow moving heavy or assault. I have no problems getting hit by them. They never were an issue in the past. Fact is that they are a lot more powerful now. Cooldown is super short (even with global cooldown) and you can pack 4 of the things. Ever run into a full group that used those? Ever ran into a competitive team that all had airstrikes and artillery? They can wipe half a team with those and batter the other half if they had a bit of luck. They take around 15% health on some mechs. They core out your back (and could kill you that way. Being in the center of a strike on a medium made me lose a complete sidetorso once even though I was still fresh. They're ridiculous.
Your 'moving' solution isn't valiable. Want to know how you don't take damage from enemy fire ever? Just keep moving too, or sit behind cover. Knowing that, you still get shot and killed often. Now what?

strikes are probably the single most powerful thing you can get for the point investment. given that coolshots were nerfed a while back for being similarly powerful (at least in the developers' eyes), i see absolutely no way that strikes won't be as well.

hopefully y'all can still remember how to shoot.

Only 1v1 and 2v2 for Solaris? Are you kidding?

No free-for-all? That's what made Solaris the brutal slugfest that it was!

And for God's sake, you can't have Solaris without George Ledeoux as Duncan Fisher!

Aaaaaagreed!

Give us at least 12 player free for all. MASS CHAOS!

I might make a "Do You have a Bolt-On Suggestion?" Thread. It might be too early, but hey I love the vanity aspect of customizing mechs more than I like fighting in battle.

For the people who want the Vulcan, from Sarna "The Vulcan was designed as an anti-infantry 'Mech in the closing years of the Amaris Civil War. ", but of course people will want it buffed to rediculous levels like other "anti-infantry" Mechs in MWO so the game will become even more like Call of Duty. To be fair though, the Clans have the new Mist Lynx variant that turned arguably the worst light Mech in the game into an OP MG boat, so why not give the IS one too?
