1. Stop using LRMs.
2. Learn to torso twist.
3. Learn to have some semblance of basic map awareness.
4. Do not bring "bracket builds" that cover all ranges. They are dumb and, useless.
I went from full potato to semi competent inside of 3-4 months. The finer details took a lot longer but T1 comes easily if you can manage the 4 points above.

Yes...advancing to higher tiers doesn't really mean much....however (assuming being active in QP) the ability to still be in tier 3...several years in ....well...that might mean something.

Not sure when you started but for QP, you have scoring for Season 11, 12 and 15. You also have an impressive kill/death ratio but your average match score /shrugs.... What is missing from the QP scoreboard that Faction Scoreboard does show is KMDD (kill, most damage done).
Average score.. do consider that the PSR is more of an experience bar. Take a look at mine. I have been playing since beta. I shouldnt be and I am not Tier 1 material but here I am. Notice also my W/L and K/D is about even but have a higher match scores. The season 15 scoring has you only in assaults but lower match score.
You should need to review how you are playing. Are you playing in the Solo queue or Group queue? Are you using direct fire weapons or indirect (LRMS)? Are you staying more often in the rear then playing clean up for the kill count, or more in the middle of the pack? Are you a passive or aggressive player? Are you communicating with the team?
Simply too many variables but many here would post, don't rush it. You likely could do better but do not be in a rush to get to Tier 1 FYI I have been max T1 for 6ish seasons or so, have good match scores but breaking even or so on W/L and K/D, though at the end of the game I check the KMDD numbers, which again, is not reflected in QP scoreboard. Again, I do not consider myself Tier 1 material but I do tend to play enough, both QP and FP. And what works in QP usually does not work in FP, vis versa.
edit - corrections. I would be flunking my English class with some of my posts...

That's it!
MWO is a game for teamplay. Even in solo QP. With every tier you have to adjust the way you play. And I guess teamplay is even more important when you want to play in comp teams.

I did my 2k AC20 damage in no time. Had a couple 800 damage matches in my old Boomjag in QP. No way at all I could have done that in group Q without lucking out. Couldn't do it in FW either, though that's because the Boomjag doesn't to damage fast enough to keep up with my teammates.
Group que is significantly tougher than solo queue. Solo queue always has potaoes. Group queue not always. The steep bar of understanding how to make a group and hit launch and being someone that other people would intentionally associate with knocks the bulk of MWO population out.

Sometimes bads cheat to get mediocre. Sometimes you get people who cheat when they think someone else is cheating and as such think they're justified.
Is what it is, bads gonna bad. Nothing of value was lost.

Cheating requires no justification, it's done in secret.
People cheat because it helps them. I adjust ingame mouse sensitivity to about .4 because it helps me.
