So none of my faction play games are registering!

Does scouting count? So far it would seem not, despite 'any faction play' mode.

Why this does not work? Why there is NO Urgent Call To Arms for freelancers?

This really hurts people who have limited time to finish it if they don't compensate for the lost games somehow.

It should work since about 45min ago. Sadly all prior matches are lost.

as far as i know you only get a call to arms if no loyalist or clan player is there to play.
during an event your chances to get games as free lancer shoul be bad. but why do you not take a contract? merc for a week would be enough for the battle for luthien event part.

I am gone for basically 2 days of this event....in good faith: I got on, played, scored several 150 matches in the time I had....make all the matches count PGI...i don't care if it takes a couple of days to fix that, but fix it.

Yes, partly. It seems only the loyalist parts had a chance of working earlier.

you must be new here. better inform yourself first next time. jokes aside, as many others stated it wont matter, even if pgi would have gave all the IS mechs as winning price, IS will not win this event. therefore their reward is more a formality than anything else.

Next question: Does the tug-of-war reset every attack phase? Like normal Faction Play?

And wow...the tug-of-war is ticking by every 1% per victory...this is going to take awhile if Clans have to get the bar all the way to the left to win...


It would be nice to get confirmation in the unlike chance that the bar isn't going to end up all the way to the left side(clan 100%), but the event lists only two possible outcomes, victory or defeat for both sides, so there should not be room for tie or draw. So my reasoning to expect the limit be right in the middle.

Okay, I just caught up with this thread, and I've already had a fair share of my own time wasted in-game... I'm not happy that I've effectively had a bunch of my own matches not count. That needs to be fixed, like yesterday. Further, time needs to be added to the Event to compensate for EVERYONE's lost time, if those past matches are unable to be given a tally in order to reward for them. <_<

That said, I'm glad that they fixed things so the Special Event is now operational. However, isn't the Normal Battle supposed to be running at the same time? That way, anyone not wanting to take part in the Special Event can avoid it, and the rest of us can get down to some serious business, all by choosing which fight we want to take part in? Or is the system still incapable of running two "I.S. vs. Clan" Battles at the same time? I thought the Planet Finder could list both? Also, shouldn't the Group Queue System be able to target a specific Battle? :blink:

the old games should count I cant play 24 hrs a day and to have 3 hrs of games not count is bs

They had a problem where they were not counting, but they fixed that at about 3 pm.
Mine are working now, but lost the before 3 ones.

This event just makes me hate Scouting Mode even more. It's bad enough that it's basically dominated by brawly mediums and actually trying to evade enemies and get the points is discouraged, but...

The way this is laid out pretty much encourages people to drop in and spam out 150 damage without caring if they live or die. That's what I'm gonna do after putting in tons of effort and not getting the necessary points. Much easier to go in with 6x SRM6s, override heat, and fire until you die for the easy damage victory.

Either way, if current Faction Play mechanics are in place, then 'victory conditions' are default conditions.

Which means Clans need to get the bar at almost 100% to win. While IS needs to keep the bar at 95% Clan favor to win.

Yeah, that sounds really fair.
