OK, I received the Urban R68(L) this year as a loyality gift.

I'm not an IS player but I figured I'd try this little bugger out and, well, it's a hoot to scoot and shoot with. Hands down, the most fun I've had playing a mech since I started in Feb of this year (2017.)

I modified the stock load out to 2 Medium lasers and a MRM 20 that has enough ammunition to last 2 matches and it just is fun to play..............

What are your fav-or-ite "if I want to have fun" mechs?

Direwolf. With as many autocannons I can safely cram into.

The Trebuchet TBT-7K.

First of all, that mech saved me from boredom when I first played MWO. Like my first mech was the TBT-5N because I wanted to try missile boating because I loved the LRMs in MechWarrior 4 what with all their going around in massive circles if they missed, but then missile boating turned out to kinda suck so I got a TBT-7K instead to try direct with like an AC/5, UAC/5, and 2 mediums, and suddenly my fun was like tripled. Then the UAC/5 was nerfed, quirks were introduced, nutech happened.

I leave for a few years and come back and suddenly my TBT-7K is wearing an armored vest with huge side-torso structure and armor quirks and a crazy special niche as a stupidly XL-friendly mech. So I take full advantage of the nutech and slap 2 SNPPCs and a UAC/10 onto the mech with an XL-255. My favorite mech has evolved into a bizarre PPFLD brawling medium and I love it.

It used to be the MAD-IIC-D with 2 LB10X, 2 ASRM6, 1 ERPPC.

Then it was the HBK-IIC-A with 6 MPL.

Last month it was the SNV-1 with 2 HLL, 6 ERML.

This month is IS-only month & so far I've been enjoying the STK-3FB with 4 LL, 2 ERML.

Yeah, I don't think I have that much fun here any more Posted Image

Hopefully next patch fixes the Nova Cat enough so I can buy it and tinker Posted Image

Quickdraws with giant engines used to be my favorite "fun" mechs. But with big alphas being so common place now, running around with a fairly fragile heavy with the firepower of a Jenner just aint much fun. So of late I have switched to a Linebacker for the same vibe, but with more survivability, firepower and speed. The things are just so much fun, and now with the loyalty variant I can jump too. Its perfect.

For me it used to be the Locust and now it's the Hellbringer with 6 Medium Lasers, 3 Flamers and a buttload of DHS...

Only have 2 mechs as of now, waiting for the c-bills sales, but out of the 2, my favorite will be my HBR-Prime laser vomit, did many 1k+ damages with it. :)

My Most fun to play mechs are definetly BJ-1 with ac2 dakka and HBK-4G with ac20. Lately also K9 with ultra-5 and Flying Splatfox (Loyalty KFX with SRM's and JJ) has proven to be hilariously fun to play.

My RVN-3L. No idea why, I'm bloody useless in it Posted Image

After that, my IS mechs. I just enjoy them.

Then my clan omnimechs. Not being able to customise them to my liking makes much them less fun to play. I don't really play clan battlemechs because I generally don't like the look of them.

Definitely the Trebuchet TBT-7M. 60 tubes of MRM fun. Join the new meta!

Boomhammer is a close second. The queue has to be really screwed up to not have fun in a Boomhammer.

Heavy Metal. I haven't played with it as much recently, but it's still my "most fun" mech.

All my favorite mechs have short to mid range setups, because short range is my favorite range. My most consistently fun mech is the shotgun Scorch.
Semi-stock Wolfhounds, SRM Jenner 2C, Splatcrow, Pulse/SRM MAD-5D, 2 MPL/ 2 UAC-10/ 2 SRM-6 on the MAD-2C-D, among others.
Honestly I've been on hiatus for a couple months, so I haven't been able to try things like my Nightstars, the new Loyalty mechs, a Locust-3M I grabbed, and some other Cougar builds I thought of.

Cicada 3c with Light Gauss and a light ppc.

13 pinpoint every 3.2 seconds is so much fun you'll forget you're almost shooting spitballs at the enemy.

The loadout sucks sure, but it doesnt stop 300-400 dmg games dang near everytime I drop in it. :P

Use to be the old Hunchback 4J. Then buffs to ams and its not as fun as it use to be. Probably my favorite mech now is the Illya Muroments. 3 lbx 10's 2 er medium lasers. Does so much hurt it is so much fun.
