what?
Shes the spokes person for Jump Jet Fuel ™ Energy Drink!
I really dont see what you are getting triggered about, being the face for a product (even a fake one) is in no way objectifying anyone. Im sure she wasnt forced and was more then happy to help the game and make something fun.
You know her voice is on one of the walkie talkie warhorns right (i think its her)? Is this also a problem that women are allowed to do as they wish? Should we worry for her well being because her voice was used (more then likely willingly) in a video game??!!

Crass and objectifying? Dude it's her face. You're acting like they forced her into a bikini or something.

Why is she the face of the product? Because she's pretty? That's the definition of objectification.
(Consider why it's not Paul, Russ, Bryan, Daeron or Phil up on that billboard.)
If Tina was dressed up as Mechwarrior, promoting JJ Fuel Drink as some kind of performance booster (or whatever it claims to do) that would be different. It wouldn't be about her looks, it would be about her endorsement as an 'expert consumer'. Instead, the way it looks at the moment is more reminiscent of a 50's era eye candy adjunct to an unrelated product.
I suppose, If that's how she wants to be depicted... well fine, that's her choice. We'll never know how comfortable or otherwise she feels about it.
But if I was PGI, I'd avoid this whole perception issue by either changing her to more of a 'prototypical Mechwarrior', and/or adding a male advertisement to the rotation.

Sarcasm is lost on this one...
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Why is it about her looks at all? How is she not a mechwarrior already? She can be whatever she wants to be right? We you have no idea what she really is other then a female appearing in a fake ad in a video game. What makes a women a mechwarrior? What makes her not? Why is this even a topic of discussion?
LOL! I see no eye candy, I see a smiling person this one a female with a hat on her head. What is old fashion about a Modern city in a futuristic game with ads on the buildings and flashing lights? Why is this even a topic of discussion?
Prototypical mechwarrior? Why is everyone in 3060 a mechwarrior or has to be? No one here has to conform to your ideas of how a women should be in this day and age? Its also 100% fiction dude you are so worried about it then call some SJW warriors or something.
If that how she WANTS to be depicted? Like its bad or something? She can do whatever she wants man... Can you breath up there all the way on top of your cloud of judgement? Handing down life lesson to us peasants is hard work huh?

I'm sure (Tina) was fine and stoked about being able to be in game, I would be, but ya she looks too homely with that brown/tan stocking cap on and they should make her look more like she's doing an ad for something that would exist in the Mechwarrior universe.
Either way, map looks pretty damn cool and a totally different take from what he have seen. Innovation is what this game needs.

Do someone know if we will be able to play in day light on this map ?
NB: And for the publicity stuff, have you even looked in a women oriented magazine lately? It's far worse than this add and it's for women...

In retrospect, trying to make a a nuanced point about gender stereotyping in a Mechwarrior forum was doomed to failure from the outset.
As I said earlier, it's up to Tina how she chooses to be portrayed, and it's up to her employer whether they ask her to appear on billboards in Space Vegas, or hang medals around the necks of tournament winners, or whatever.
How we react to that portrayal is also up to each of us.
But I'll opt out of the personal insulting, thanks. Have a nice day, everyone.
