*drop deck*

I havent looked at everything in detail yet but here are some initial toughts:
the locust 1v would not be very useful. I would switch it for a 6 ml, erml, or smpl 1E. You dont want to have a ranged deck completely ranged. Its always good to have 1 brawl or med range mech to fall back on if the enemy decides to rush on a ranged map.

For the second WHM 6R, i stongly reccomend swapping out the AC10s for UAC10s
The LL seems a little out of place on the 7D. Not the worst thing, just a little strange.

I havent looked at all the loadouts, but i will edit this post when i do.

you can check this ingame too put 6 ermed and put 1ml/mpl/ermed on top the right torso mount there will be yellow danger sing flashing when you click on it will say *firing more then x amount weapons simultanneously will result in higher heatspikes*

Then we're actually saying the same thing, it's just an erroneous use of nomenclature. 6+ means "6 or more" while you're describing 7 or more (7+).
Not trying to be pedantic. Only reason I point it out is because sometimes noobs like me makes continous mistakes when we misunderstand. :)

Hmm yeah it seems 6+ means 6 or more not more then 6 as i though. never used + as indicator used to use >=< to indicate those kinda of things

OK I'm back after a weekend away.

Eisen - Palf gave you a load of good feedback (thanks Palf bro!) and I have not a lot more to add really. Just remember the rear/front armour. Don't run more than 6 on the rear. I know most realise this when we post smurfy links - but sometimes - super new people do not.

What I do have to add...

ASN21 = dead. Since the nerf, IMO, there is a new king in town and I have barely seen ANYONE adapting to this key change in FP yet... But then I stilll see teams running MAD3Rs, super old META... I guess I should not be surprised. Anyway get on the rise of the ASN23 #1 or ASN23 #2. I reckon the #2 build is the way to go, 4T is plenty of ammo and that's 800dmg or so using the ASN21 skill maze (posted pages back IIRC).

IV4 I'd just drop 1T ammo for more arm armour, personal preference for longevity in FP

WHM-7D - No idea why you are mixing 2 x LPL / 1LL. Silly. Use Palf's build or use a cooler option if you struggle like ONE or TWO

The BSW X2 - I dunno, LBX10s aren't great and it's a slow build really for the mech. I don't have a decent build other than something like THIS

I saw a very similar build yesterday in FW cheekiez... however the guy had the brilliant idea to go 3x LRM15 w/ Artemis instead of 4 LRM15. Brilliance, because it helps minimize ghost heat while maximizing damage from the tighter spread. And we all love a tight spread.

I humbly request 4 mechs you would take for the Inner Sphere as an "all purpose" Deck. Meta me out homie, i'm one of the poor fools still running the Mad-3R

which 4 would you take on your Innersphere drop deck for best all around. I'll go back on the 11 pages to find the specific builds.

The dropdecks based on tonnage efficiency and not catergory like long/mid/short or hot/cold deck (since the list get to long for me to bother Posted Image). ill do a general skill tree another time for it.

Clan dropdeck (240)
Spoiler

IS dropdeck (265)
IS has way more viable dropdeck because of higher tonnage and alot viable mech on different tonnage brackets. I am gonna mention only 2.
Spoiler

General Skill tree builds
Alot my skill tree has heavy survival investment (29SP) if you dont like it can drop the right side of survival since it mainly struc buff (18SP survival 11SP free to spend). Suggestion to spend free SP: 9 SP accel/decel, 9 SP left 60% radar, 1-2 SP auxilery, weapons.

TBH - Up to you.

You hackusate and abuse many friends of mine ingame (have all the screenshots). I'm not really interested in helping people who behave like that constantly.

You fit into the above statement as well. What you did a couple of days ago in game was utterly inexcusible and I feel sorry for those on your team who has to endure that.

-------------------------------------------------------

Let me be clear to anyone out there. If you wanna hackusate, abuse, mass eject, team kill etc etc. I am not putting my time nor effort into helping you if you don't even wanna attempt to play and resort to that kinda stuff. It's just not on in my book.

Hey Palfateros, I originally had the LPL / LL mix because I had 3 LPL and 4 ER ML originally and realized I could swap a LPL for a LL + 2 ERML, hence the odd mix. I tried your build though, and it's better. Very hot, but damn does it hurt when I hit something with it.

Threw a very similar build on a BNC-3M, and good lord is that thing a monster.

Yeah suspected it had something to do with replacing the lpl since they arent that good anymore.
and yes it a very hot build a more sane build would probably be WHM-6D (actually this probably better then the insane hot one i gave first ;p)

added Skill trees

You might want to choose better friends. The "friends" you associate with farm people that are clearly inferior as they drop from the ship after going 12-0 on 1st wave. That's really helpful for such a small community game. I have respect for the top players and the units that actually fight it out. I have nothing but contempt for the players that stand on a hill and fire down into the drop ship before the pilot can even move.

Ash i thought you were better than that, but if you condone drop ship farming i hope no one takes your advice for the sake of the game continuing.

What you call "farming" is what I often call " mercykill" .
Mostly used when the enemy is so weak that it leaves you speechless .

Aww, look who needs a safe space. If you get crushed that hard and camped at your drop zone, it's entirely your own fault. What is the enemy supposed to do? Let you kill a few mechs to make it even again, and the same the next wave, and so on? Do you even have a tiny spark of competitive mindset? That's just not how it works, man. Do you think Tom Brady would drop the ball intentionally for the enemy team a few times after scoring 3 touchdowns within the first 3 drives? No, you go balls deep for destruction. This is not toddler league, where every kid gets a trophy. When you first start playing FP, you get a warning that things are a bit different here. Actually read and comprehend this, please.

Some units are ruthless, and they have every right to play that way. If you can't handle it, fine. Go back to QP. But stop forcing others to be "fair" when they are better skilled than you. We have enough socialism in our society already, can't hold the successful people back in every game as well ;)

And don't get me wrong, I understand where you come from with your arguments. We Mariks drop vs EVIL, BCMC, MS etc. all the time. Sometimes we get utterly slaughtered, sometimes we hold up relatively well. But however it goes, we learn from the experience. When we get cornered in drop zones, we know we f'ed up big time. We try and figure out how to prevent that next time. We don'T mass eject, we don't try to dodge them, we f'ing face them and give it our best. Grow some balls, please. I have dropped many times vs Palfatreos and Ash, and they are not the type of sadistic seal clubbers you hold them for.

I hate to say it, but in this case the old Clammer line fits: Git gud! Or at least, improve ;)

I wholeheartedly support this initiative. Now I can't speak on Ash's skill level (apart from the leaderboard showing him as a god of mech combat), but from my perspective way down here at Tier5 there are far too many matches I get thrown into PUG-style and nobody *really* knows what to do.

Take, for example, an Escort mission; when someone marginally more experienced than everyone else decides to be the shot caller on the team and then proceeds to direct the entire team AS FAR FROM THE VIP AS THEY CAN because, and I'm quoting directly here, "the VIP has tons of armor, don't worry about him" is just wrong. Less than a handful of our team were destroyed, but we lost because nobody was on objective.

This kind of thing can be avoided simply by building a community around the game that supports fair competitive play. If you're not sure how to build that mech for FW, someone can help you with that, and not just because they want you on their team to fight in FW but because of sportsmanship and decorum.

That might have been long-winded, but I felt I needed to fully illustrate my support. Here's where I plug my own training initiative:
I'm trying to hold a 1v1 competition directed towards new players. Now I can't say that my initiative is as accommodating as Ash's, but the feeling is there. If you know anyone who's new to the game (who might want the chance to win a free Champion mech) send them over: Feyd's Irregulars Champion's Cup
