A few people are stopping by 54MR TS midweek... A FYI, I'm not on weekdays at the moment (US timezone). So if you do, I won't be there.

I'll see if I can be around d this weekend but equally unlikely at this point. Work and life is hectic at the moment and Sat night (Oceanic phase) I just did QP drops while streaming to chill.

Depends how much you want to learn. Many hours of learning can be done.

Be that in drop, mechlab, which teams/opponents are likely to do what etc etc.

I've spent nearly an hour with someone inna private lobby before just going over torso twisting, brawling tactics, and build considerations. And that was just the two of us, no delving into group play or considerations. (To be fair though, the whole reason I offered is they were able to keep up with me in CW and was willing to work with the group, but just couldn't put the numbers up my unit was, so we didn't really need to go over unit tactics.) It's really how much time are you willing to spend, and how much are they? How much are willing to learn?

At some point it becomes tromping along with a group, just playing and picking up what you can.

Even now I still try to keep my eyes open and learn. There's just as much to be learned from the opposition as well. what do they do that irks you or stalls a push? Can you use that? Stuff like that.

ATTENTION - TRAINING TIME.

I will be on Sat around 12pm AEDT which is Fri 1am UTC.

If anyone wants to join in on some drops etc either hit me up in game or send me a message. I'm sure I can rustle up a few to get a reasonable group going so you can see what organised play is about.

Or if people wanna do some private lobby stuff I can do that too no drama. You will likely learn more in a private lobby just learning basic skills depending on your ability. But can sus that out easily/quickly.

If I missed it, I apologize. When running the 3 hbr deck for midrange, which 45 tonner do you recommend to fill out the drop deck?

Whatever you want. You don't need to run a 45T, you can go with a light and slightly undertonne.

Despite the SHC being nerfed 100 times, I still enjoy taking it.

a dual ER PPC SHC actually makes a clan drop deck work very well. It allows for 3 65 ton mechs to be dropped. and the DUAL ER PPC's can be used to support other mechs of heavier tonnage with burst suppression fire.
