Game lost weapons diversity. Game became less fun. PGI fix this.

Just hold a lock instead of let it break every 2 seconds.
(Oh yea, this requires actual line of sight, not having "friendlies" "holding" "your" lock.)

Hmm... Have you tried aiming while using them? That fixes it right up. True, you can't use your foot to aim now, but since the invention of hands this game has become easier.

Found all my lrms, srms, mrms, ssrms, atms, narcs and all the billions piles of ammo for them still in the game and where I left them when I last loged in. looks like they haven't been removed from the game. Are they combat viable? fk no take that guass, laser and ac bro. Are they still used in the game? Yep I seen a alrm 40 cptl-a1 last night and a few atm mdk mk2s. seen an srm acw as well.

pgi needs to remove dual heavy guass and mechs with it as a load out next for balance just like they have lrms. Or just keep nerfing the crap out of them like Jenners where no one uses them any more.

Go for it, 4x LBX10 is better anyway. But by all means, keep blaming the HGR boogyman for your losses.

ATMs and LRMs can both be dumb fired in this game. For table top, Streak SRM's could either be fired with a lock for all missiles hitting, or dumb fired for standard SRM hit resolution. I humbly asked that it be applied to this game since acquiring a lock with Streaks is more difficult now and increases the time of the weapon being useless for a player on the field during those spans of time they can't get a lock. I doubt it will happen but I put it in the right thread.

The tears of LRM bi... users are so sweet.
LRMs have been buffed twice in the last patches and now a correction has been made to reduce the rampant spread of LRMs. I guess fighting with actually having LoS to your enemy is simply too much for some people.

*Sip*
Ah.... these tears... so delicious.

Love how people always wants to comment on how lrms deserved the nerfbat, but don't want to mention the simultaneous nerfing of the other missile systems that are even more negatively affected by the changes. But yeah gaiz, lerms.

I actually laugh at those mechs. So easy to kill. As for my 'losses' you can't do anything with 11 random people that refuse to communicate and use team work vs a team that does and expect to win no matter how meta your mech is or l33t you're skills are. No one has ever posted a video of themself winning a 12 vs 1 in solo q skirmish match at an 0-11 score with the most meta mech they have and use.

By all means keep telling which mechs and load outs are to blame for those losses you imagine me to have.

Also we can see them agressively standing behind two lines of ally mechs and hear their ferocious battlecry "HOLD ZE LOKS PLEEZZ!"

Oh no! A weapon that originally required no skill now requires the brainpower of a fungus! What ever will the average potato do

Ah, the salt is so delicious... I guess it's time for y'all to stop hiding behind the team in a 90 tonner and actually fight, yeah? I guess it's time to learn how to aim, yeah?

Nah, proper aim and direct fire is broken. Two 17 ton weapons that leave little to no space and really is only viable on massive assaults and blow up as soon as the armor is gone is broken. Being at optimal weapon range is broken. Oh noes! WHAT WILL WE DO?!?!?!

Whoever is complaining about this probably should go back to farmville. Please learn the basic mechanics of seeing your target and shooting it with things. It's not complicated.

1. There's no such thing as aggressive LRM. It is a passive playstyle by design.

2. If LRMs are dead, https://cdn.discorda...rms_on_HPG1.png explain this result from an LRM deck.

3. Weapon diversity increases as LRM power decreases. With LRMs in the game it's hard to run any sort of mid or short range build because the MM might just give you Polar or Alpine and make you irrelevant- or you get another open map like Caustic, someone NARCs you, and you die within a few seconds.

Reducing the power of streaks and LRMs opens up the possibility of more lights (when streaks got buffed light queue went down to 8%), more short-midrange builds (maybe i can run my 4aSRM6 BSW in QP now instead of just scouts?), and more mixup of ranges (ERLLs are still viable at long range...). The only thing the patch punishes is people who refuse to even attempt to move or to aim.
