Look guys, it would just be nice if you didn't run around with your stacked teams all of the time. You and everyone else knows how bad it is for Faction Warfare. Players come over from QP to try out FW and get smashed without mercy and go back to QP. Now, it isn't entirely your guys doing, even though I made it out that way. It's in large part due to PGI designing the mode the way they did, and then, basically, abandoning the mode. They even tried to dissolve the mode for Solaris. But I'd say the that heavily stacking the teams is not fun for anyone. Not the guys getting stomped, and probably not even for you guys. So, what options are available to us? Continue on with the current bs?!? Oh yeay!!! No...if you guys are going to continue unabated then YES, I'm going to try to find a damn counter. A better idea would be to split your team into 2 12 men and pick up some regulars to fill in your ranks. That would balance thingss out. But, other then the efforts Mac has put in, it seems like you guys are perfectly content to leave things the way they are. So, you tell me. What would you guys do in my shoes?!?
Let me take a quotation from MWO Wiki for you:
"Recreate the epic confrontation between the Great Houses of the Inner Sphere and the invading Clan forces. Fight against and alongside other players during one of the invasion windows to help your chosen Faction conquer or protect vital worlds. Strike out as a Lone Wolf, or form units with other players and compete to display your unit's tag above the planets you help capture. While the choice to become famous or infamous is yours, both will require skill and teamwork to attain.
FORM A UNIT
The goal of any MechWarrior is to eventually form a Unit and band together with other SKILLED pilots. There is no force in the galaxy able to withstand a well coordinated unit, and their services are sought by powerful Factions throughout the Inner Sphere and beyond. Some units fight in the name of these ruling factions, while others can be bought and sold to the highest bidder. "
So as we see, forming a Unit and banding together with other skilled pilots, is what this mode was, is & will be about, not some gen-rushing/base-shooting. I'm playing mode as it's seen in lore & by devs, & I'm not alone with idea that CW is meant to be played in premade.
Yes it was more fun during 1st & 2nd Tykaiids, with more decent units present back in the days, but the mode is still pretty ok.
