I'm more concerned that once "soy boy" was unleashed no one chimed in with "beta ****" than the politics of lurming.

No need to proclaim what is clear for all to see.

PGI barely nerfed lrms, which continue to be widely used in pugs because the weapon causes alot of problems with gameplay.

What problems do LRMs cause with gameplay?

Is it "static" gameplay? because LRMs don't cause this.Moronic lack of appropriate counter tactics does.

"derppidy derp derp..look LRMs we should certainly stay back here at optimal range and hope they get bored and go away...derpaderp"...Idiots...

We are talking about a weapon with the largest minimum range window to exploit, effected my ECM,radar deprivation,AMS and simple defilade. That fires literally the slowest projectile in the game and lacks pinpoint damage application.

If ever there was a weapon that begged to be charged it's a 180m min ranged diffused damage lock on weapon that is jammed by the prolific number of ECM as well as rendered less effective by the also prolific counts of AMS and the omnipresence of radar deprivation and proper use of defilade.

But nope..."derpidy derp derp let's hide and die instead"

Dervish going to be a champ at SRM brawl.

The fact that you'd lrm in something that by default is going to be a tank beast says a lot.

Yep, it's going to be the IS version of the Phaket... and do it better...

To recap, Novakaine has an issue with having to play LRMS like a direct fire weapon.

Khale flew off on some weird assumption about Escef's personal values.

And Escef responded reasonably to point out the silliness of both Novakaine and Khale (although the irony of a man who has a very loose idea of how to behave appropriately ingame being a moderating influence is not lost on me).

Let them play how they want. We'll still farm them. We just know to mute them now.

You'll generally only see me get irked when someone else decides that treating the rest of the team like trash is the right answer.

I swear to God you make a thread like this every time PGI makes even the tiniest change to LRMs.

Isn't that "balance"? the laser nerds and the Dakka nerds do the same thing ! Balance. Complaint for complaint !

I'm of the opinion that all three should be reverted to the 2016 levels of effectiveness ! Lets' stop screwing around with endless nerfs and let's get lethal out there again..... Missiles, energy and chemical weapons need to be returned to a pre-skill tree change state of effectiveness.... Then, let's see who comes out on top......... Boy, if they did that, we could mine the salt for generations for all of the crying and shedding of tears that would create! And, un-nerf the agility to pre skill tree and then, we'd see the agile heavies come back and the game would really change courses again: back to a lethal, and fast, tactical environment !!

Oh getting 'irked' is fair enough.

It's more your choice of character slurs against people you disagree with and continued behaviour outside the game that goes a little beyond 'irked' and into breaches of COC.

If you say so. You see me how often, again? Daily? Weekly? But, hey, I'm not the guy that has followers so emotionally unbalanced that they actually spend money to troll me; and in the end they're out money, and I'm out nothing. And if you don't want to be associated with certain crowds, don't adopt their verbiage. Crazy, right?

Emotionally unbalanced would be accusing people of being white supremacists while streaming after being called out.

I mean in today's day and age, who would do such a thing.

Oh wait a minute... It was you!

I want the Crusader because it's iconic, not because of its' armament. :P

Ok, before the goes to K-town, I think there is a story here that really ought to be shared with the group. This sounds either hilarious or disturbing. Either way, lets have it.
