PSR .. when you have 70th percentile Tiers 1's and 99th percentile Tier 1's, that doesnt even come close to balancing anything.
This match maker design might actually be WORSE than the free for all currently, unless you are a Faction specific unit or a 90th + solo player.

That has to go fast as I do not want to keep going into the settings to adjust the volume. Soon it be a case of either the beep goes or the players do.

Also, will there be a reward structure for winning storyline events with the side you fought for? Is it likely just multi-faction loyalty points and follow current promotion rewards?

-beeping has to go.
-window message (aka, blinking/lighting up) has to go. give the system one, once a lobby is found.
that said, I like the 10sec pace and that you can still type while searching a game.
-on the liveservers, -maybe- give out a tiny amount of cbills&xp per 'tic', just so folks don't think that "waiting in que doesn't make money, I'd rather Quickplay"
-pretty happy with the looks and the "story" (minimal, but at least something). we just need WAY more people in here to test

Can't test anything if no one is playing. I should note that the last thing Paul suggested is it would be next weekend after things went poorly last Friday, it was only luck that I logged into MWO and saw the post about the PTS today. Many other perhaps won't. Try sending a mass email like you do ad infinitum for the MW5 pre-order and other sales events.
Will try again tomorrow if it's still going.

I would rather say - separated beep for friends would be nice.

- you should have a better announcement to gather more people (i thought it will start coming friday)
- maybe if its possible do PTS without 12vs12 limitation (for example: If there are 7vs6 people after 5 minutes of waiting, just drop 6vs6)
- beep sound has to go. But the Solaris counter is nice for FP
- I like the faction focus. We already feel the (friendly) beef on IS Chat xD

It sucks that most of the waiting time in faction play you cant have access to modify your drop decks. Eventually you get a game. and either wait 10 min for nothing OR 1 minute scramble to edit a deck into place appropriate for the map.... Oh and then after you save the deck you THEN need to press <Select> or all your effort is for naught... oh and if its in the last 10 sec. it might not stick anyway.

Well put Viking. I think PGI would be surprised how happy it would make the player base if they worked on all these little issues that have been nagging us all these years. On their own, each issue might seem trivial, but when you run into a 'trivial' issue at every turn of the MWO experience it adds up and starts to grate on your nerves.
Fixing these small issues would not only make the game more enjoyable but would show that you are listening to the community.

Error:"Unable to load your account-data."
Unable to rejoin. Restarted Game. Still unable to rejoin.
