I mean, this is your second language right? There's a lot of nuance I don't think you get, and you seem to be automatically upset anytime someone questions your ability at the game.

Thing is, everyone has every right to question someone's ability at something when it is clear that person has a lot to learn themselves.

That is precisely why what you post rubs people the wrong way and elicits the kind of responses you get.

Unless somebody here has already said so, I should remind everyone that the Tier/PSR system was designed to only separate new from experienced players. Period. Despite its name, actual "skill" had nothing to do with it. As such, it was working as intended as long as tier separation was kept to the bare minimum (i.e. 1 tier spread). But now the release valves seem to be wide open.

Thus, people attributing other qualities/meanings to the Tier/PSR system is not on PGI. It is just not what players think it is -- or want it to be unless substantial changes are made. However, given the current player base situation, I doubt PGI is willing to build a comprehensive skill-based system.

In MWO, they will never be fixed. As like someone said, Tiers and stats go together. But gaming industry and psychologists are working on a better stat system for healthier environment. In MWO, the population is getting smaller. If you are not seeing it now on the stat problem, you will see them in future.

PGI has said that in a pod cast. Actually it was Paul specifically but I don't have a link handy. However, this information isn't helpful nor pertinent to how it can be fix but rather restating one of it's major flaws.

PGI also wouldn't have to rebuild anyting, just change values in a spreadsheet to at least stop it being so upwardly biased.

You are not going to fix the "Trash Team", and you can not. It is never going to be fixed, as long as population falls. Just talk? Not going to help. You are going to be in rounds, and someone, will say Trash teams, or stupid team. Doesn't help improve MWO, or even the players. You have a magic wand? Ta-da!!!

Oh, I am. When it comes to Trash Teams, you will have to settle what is out there. If you think they are trash or stupid teams, well. Nothing we or you can do. Unless a magic wand, that show sprinkles and flowers, when you swing it, and before making a wish. You do not have anything helpful. Do you? Or a link and tell people to get a interpreter. like me. Because I do not see anything here from you on this thread about Trash teams. Unless you put stats in the topic with PSR together.

Competetion and stats aren't unhealthy.

Wanting to portray yourself as a strat genius and then being butthurt for being called out with nothing to show for yourself is what is unhealthy.

The topic is not about stats. That conversation is over.

I disagree that we can't get together and try and get PGI to adjust matchmaking parameters to try and make better matched teams. Doesn't matter if that means having all the tiers together, it only means evaluating players and their contributions more effectively.

Even a PSR reset would be a benefit due to the different speed good/average/bad players would manage to get there.

So don't lose hope, as I hear that is bad psychologically.

Yes, I am upset. Toxic people do that to others. And I know you are you enjoyed our little feud, or you would have help bring us to peace. Peaceful, mindful, friendlier people work on truth, and find alternatives in solving problems. You don't. And you even said it, 'Cause truth is extraordinary painful?" So, what about stats? Is it painful to accept that it hurts others?

Okay freud, I'll bite.

Its kind of aggravating. If there were any kind of actual matchmaker in this game; you probably wouldn't be in my games to begin with.

You see although I play comp, although I am ranked in the top 10%; I have yet to aquire the god tier carry power some of my peers poses.

So as a strong intermediate level player is is REALLY frustrating when I see players continually do the same bad things and act like they're beyond reproach.

Your negative interactions on this forum and in game stem from your behavior; your stats are merely a tool used to indentify that you don't have a leg to stand on when you want to discuss the nuances of this game from a place of authority; and in my mind that is precisely why you are so upset about it.
