If you don't have armor left, you're correct.
It's almost like they're good at destroying unarmored locations or something once their team rips a hole in something. How strange that one will generally wait for such an opening before securing the kill, secure in the knowhow that most PUGs will neither be able to aim and hit one, pay attention to it, or actually pilot something that will rip it a new one.
It's like whining about LRMs.

As for the Tiers, if, and that is IF.. Paul adds Tiers to the group MM, then it should take higher Tier of that group and not the average, and the Tiers should be reseeded.
But yeah, it figures Paul would use the PGI's KISS principle by putting in the minimum amount of worked necessary.

Solo Q hasn't used tiers in MM at least since the maintenance mode AMA in April of last year, and may have stopped as early as the first half of the previous year. I know the changes made, and I'm mocking people complaining about it as it's really the only move PGI could make to provide a reasonable queue time for all non-FP players.

If the new current system makes randoms get stomped too bad you can always make premades have reduced tonnage based on group number and psr (like tier 1's can take a bigger tonnage hit than tier 4's which are prob going to bring the team down lol)(and have 4 mans take a tonnaeg hit where 2 mans dont so make up for the competitive advantage of having more players in the same premade). These might not be needed tho. A lot has changed. back in the day when a 4 man could carry a game there was no team voip.

Got the usual roflostomps here and there, the usual 12-7/12-6 and similar results matches, and quite a few close ones. So. early results don't seem to indicate the end of all times so many were predicting, but this is just some early testing, we'll have to see in the long run.
At the very least, i'll finally be able to play with my friend without having to wait 30 minutes for a match.
P.S.: also, can you guys avoid talking about your e-peens for 5 minutes? who the **** cares about who's a pro and who isn't? Just play the game as you lot always do and enjoy it. Tryharders, keep tryhardin. Memebuilders, keep memebuilding. Mechdads, keep mechdadding.
Give this a couple weeks and see how it goes. Yes, i was there back when group queue wasn't even in the talking, and honestly, i don't remember things being that much worse than they were lately. The only thing being worse back then was my aiming ._.

The groups are dropping with their own comms. Good for them. Nothing else is happening in voice chat. The rest of the team is a mix of tier 5-1, all doing their own thing.
I think I might give it a break for a while and come back when this all blows over... if there's anything left to come back to.
