Also while I am writing this and sorry if this is off topic. The game crashing right when the match starts, has been an ongoing issue for I don't know how long now, regardless of what PC I use. That leaves the Mech sitting AFK in the match, and you end up getting penalized for leaving the match early, but whats really going on is your restarting the game as fast as you can hoping to get re-join the match before someone kills your Mech.

FRAGTAST1C your expectations are too High. You need to wait and see if Paul improves the match making with the PSR reset and adjustments first. After that happens and it proves to be an improvement and that He didn't make it worse (because he doesn't share the PSR code to be evaluated) then you can add ONE of your secondary issues to be addressed.

The only reason it ended 2-12 instead of 0-12, is because two non-Assassin ungrouped mechs had strayed to the other side of the map at the beginning of the match and got killed there.
It doesn't matter if it's a group vs ungrouped abuse or a broken Assassin grouping abuse : This is repeatable at will.

I don't know if PGI changed anything in the last day or two ... but the "stompiness" of matches seems to have increased in the last 2-3 days.

I hope they get the reset right and soon, because the price of dumping the toxic queue into the solo queue is about to take it's toll otherwise.

I see way more toxic ''bad players'' than ''good'' ones. It is a fact.

This queue merge has made matchmaking far worse (and it wasn't terribly good before), in part because the matchmaker basically just throws groups into matches without any sense of creating balanced sides.
I have seen, on several occasions most notably since the exodus following the Epic announcement, matches with a Cadet (sometimes up to 3) in it. All of these were before this merge experiment started. At one point, it was happening at least once a week (I even commented on it on the Discord channel I partake in). Now, I don't follow the day to day, nor month to month, player participation levels, so for all I know only 23 other people could have been playing during those periods...
I don't pretend to know why it happened, nor do I really care, just relaying my observations...

but I repeat - don't break current calculations system, stable "Average Score" are currently the only objective indicator of skill now. So just create dynamic tier, average score dependent. For example:
tier 5 = 0-99 AS
tier 4 = 100-199 AS
tier 3 = 200-299 AS
tier 2 = 300-399 AS
tier 1 = 400+ AS
- the tier should be updated every 20 games depending on stable "Average Score"
its objective and simple, and it will work with current calculations system, and you don’t need to break anything or redo it
