OK, now that there are two posters advocating Warhammer WHM-6R over the Orion:
Q: What's so good about the Warhammer WHM-6R ?
Is it because of the two side torso ballistic hardpoints, one on each side?
Q: Why not add Two (2) of RAC5, one on each torso, as opposed to the proposed two (2) UAC10?
Does it get too hot when both are used at the same time?
(I also noticed that WHM-6R is a very popular mech in Faction Play (FP), both for its tonnage and hardpoint layout).

Warhammers are just good mechs.
Orions have terrible mounts and hardpoint locations. Their bigboy armour quirks don't really make up for it. The only build of note is the pretty standard brawler build, OV1 VA with an AC20 and SRM6. A few agility buffs and they could be pretty cool.
Bad geometry and hardpoints can really kill a mech
Rac5s are terrible. One of the worst weapons in the game.
UAC10s are a great weapon. Pretty much the gold standard for ballistic weaponry and anything you can fit dual uac10s in is going to be effective.

For Orion ON1-V, with the -30% UAC/5 Jam chance:
Q: If I added RAC5 into above mech, would this quirk also decrease my RAC5 jam chance?
(I've never seen a -% RAC jam chance reduction anywhere, hence this question).
UAC quirks do not affect RAC weaponry.
The only RAC-specific quirk is "jam ramp down duration" and that can be found on a Rifleman. But again, RAC5s are horrible. Too hot, too much spread, not enough range etc.
