SLDF “Royal” Mechs
Many of the so-called royal variants are already available (e.g., Highlander 732B, Griffin 2N). Some of the mechs are fairly similar to existing chassis, but prudent use of quirks could help differentiate them. (For example, the loadout of the Shadow Hawk 2Hb is very similar to the GDL hero mech.)
I'd love to see a bundle that includes all the royal mechs, SLDF decals, a “SLDF green” color, and maybe a unique Black Watch Pattern. Even better, make a Royal Black Watch Highlander hero mech. I’d buy an SLDF collection and pay a premium for doubly a new Highlander hero.I haven't added info on the load outs because doing so would make this very hard to read.

Everybody Loves ECM
ECM is always welcome, especially in heavy and medium mechs.
- Huntsman-H: ECM is located in the legs, but for monetization purposes, you could swap around a fixed structure point and move it into the CT.
- Hunchback-5P & 5SG: The 5P is essentially a 4P with ECM and some additional sensor/targeting equipment (C3) that could be replaced with a targeting computer. The 5SG is basically just a 4G with a gauss rifle and stealth armor. Either or both would be fine
- Hunchback-IIC-4: Carries experimental clan rotary autocannon 5’s in place of the UAC20’s with ECM in the head. A nice counter balance to the IS-ECM bearing hunchies’ above. You could replace the RAC’s with another ballistic weapon, but it would be cool if RAC’s could be restricted to this mech. That would make it truly unique.
- Stormcrow-Z: It’s technically too early in MWO timeline, restricted to the clan homeworlds, and uses technologies not currently implemented in game. That being said, you could make it happen. You should make it happen. Replace the NOVA CES with a fixed ECM and light active probe. Likewise, drop the supercharger for MASC and replace the iATM’s with regular ones. Yes, it’s bizarre, and self-serving (the crow’ is my favorite mech) but think of the LOL’s!
- Vindicator-4L: ECM, stealth armor and a better weapons loadout. A primarily energy weapon equiped, non-hero version of the Ghillie for all those Capellen fans out there.
- Timber Wolf-Bounty Hunter Hero: Pulse lasers, ECM, light tag, and a light active probe among other things. This mech is iconic and should get more love.
- Rifleman IIC-8: I think this might be too far ahead in the timeline but it could work. Head mounted ECM with Streak SRM-6’s in each torso. The arms have ER-large lasers and anti-infantry, mini-gauss rifles. The mini-gauss could easily be replaced by heavy machine guns instead.
- Grasshopper-7K- This mech is pretty rare on the battlefield and a variant with an ECM suite could help make it more popular.
- Jager Mech-F: RAC-5’s and ER large lasers. Combine gauss rifles with stealth armor for optimal sniping.
- Rifleman-7M: Two light gauss rifles, 6 ER-medium lasers, and a small laser.

Adding more mechs won't help the current under-performers, and indeed only serve to only further confuse players as to what mech they should spend their hard earned cbills (or MC!) on. Everyone should be aware PGI has a lot of irons in the fire and thus not a lot of man power - my advice is that PGI does as much as they can for as few resources.
TL;DR: Adjusting currently underused and unviable mechs is a lot easier than making new ones.

One way to fix this I think would be to drastically reduce the heat cap and dissipation compared to Clan but don't reduce speed. This will keep an asymmetry still be devastating if used on a hot IS mech but give them a good place on colder/faster IS mechs.
As for new mechs/variants I would rather see existing mechs get adjusted to be more viable and rather than resources being used to make brand new mechs I would rather see more maps added. Even if they are just variants on existing ones it would go a long way to help against burn out.

The agility is bad, it’s huge, and it’s loadouts are either equivalent to a heavy or they are too hot and/or too slow.

If the developers got the Rifleman IIC so close to the MW2 version, and the IS Warhammer and Griffin still pretty close to the unseen canon ones, these should be doable.
Maps:
Make more (or even all) of the Testing Grounds maps available in Quick Play matches. No need to make more maps, there are already plenty of them in Testing Grounds that aren't even being used in Quick Play. Especially Emerald Taiga, Vitric Forge, and Hellebore Springs.
If there are to be any new maps, perhaps they can include some of the more bizarre/extreme environments on Clan homeworlds, or remakes of some of the MW2 invasion corridor or MW4 Black Knight Legion world maps (crystalline anomalies, etc.).
Game Mechanics:
Un-nerf the assaults and give them a decent base torso twist speed and torso pitch range; likewise, make the lights a bit more believable, i.e. they should actually be vulnerable to knockback by heavy weapons. IS LRMs doing damage at close range (even if it's messy and imprecise) would be an improvement too.
Decals:
Add more decal slots, larger warning-stripe decals, and also increase the amount of surfaces on a mech where they can go (curved surfaces, weapon barrels/cowlings, etc.), reconcile decal color shades to patterns color shades (currently the same colors look 50% brighter on decals than they do on patterns).

But new mechs would be nice. Really want to see mw4's version of Hellhound, Black Heart as unseen design, Templar,deimos would be nice also.
But in terms of variant, i want to see a variant of a heavy marauder, with ballistic hardpoint in the right torso, missile hardpoint on the left and lasers on the arms.

I’m sure they could crop the cw maps.. even if they aren’t perfect, anything new is better than the same nothing we’ve had for years.

unfortunately not all tonnage is created equal. i wish there was a clan tonnage penalty (even a small one). Even with late war tech IS is still not as effective as Clan.
8v8 would be nice for shorter queue times.
